Nothing particularly significant or new to the topic at hand in this thread. He said that those poor refereeing in the Serie A lately (Viola-Milan game for example) is a clear indication that there's an attempt to tighten the gap between the leader of the pack (Inter) and teams below them (Milan, Roma). As a result, this of course would make the championship opened again (although Inter will still win it anyway).

Beha's point basically is that post-calciopoli refereeing is much-much worst than before to the point that the whole calciopoli discourses should be remade from the beginning (since the underlying logic behind calciopoli's accusations is allegedly unbalanced and corrupted referee/refereeing decisions). In other words, so much for "cleaning the sport" thing.. He even concludes his speech with a proposal to make Moggi as the next AIA's (Italy's Referee Association) president. Could be in a mere sensasionalistic way or sarcastic.

Generally, I agree with him. But the other important issue that should had been addressed is how different approaches people (i.e. Italy's calcio high-profiles) take when dealings with referees mistakes pre and post calciopoli. Before 2006, whenever a referee made a mistake, we used to hear how people moan about "conspiracies" (and yes, by default, Juventus and Moggi was always, somehow, implicated). If the exact same thing happens after 2006, they'll say, "Referee is only human. We need to get over it." I suppose it is very uncharacteristically Italien mentality. And yes, it's not at all as an attempt to protect the referees better. They're doing it on purpose so that people believe that calciopoli is just and everything is better now that Moggi and co. has gone.

As for the case of Inter and Mourinho's conspiracy claims, over and above the fact that moaning is in their DNA, we all know that they're just trying to shift pressures off their players, and also maybe to bring that ever-important focus closer to the players mind in this crucial phase of the season.

Today too? ;)

He hailed his friend Pietro Leonardi. They asked him if he thinks he'll come to Juve so answered that he's not aware of any negotiations so he can't say.
Just seen this post. Just quoting to say it be REALLY nice if we hired Leonardi.

Why did gsol become Mbsol?
I'm not gsol. :shifty:

Because the account gsol is still on, why would he create a new username?
Maybe because he never created it in the first place. You know, just because we both have similar username doesn't mean that it comes from the same person.

He is mbsol now.
I am not. Check my IP add. Sigh. Maybe I should change my username, no?
