CDRWIN and Alcohol 120% are two others. I've never tried any of them, but I'm gonna to, cause Nero doesnt work fine for me.

Abot Nero: I had the same problem, and I needed to do 2 things: install new ASPI drivers and also switch off Autostart for CD-Rom, all that helped.
