I think it would've looked nice as a stripe(s) with that design, having that gradient look coming from the middle instead.
2010-11 shirt is personally one of my favorites. Only thing is the T-Mobile could've been better integrated, but a part from that a fantastic shirt imo.

And to something else - yet again, goodbye legend... today was the last one for Bayern in Europe. 751 games, 248 goals and 274 assists. Underrated in his entire career, but what a player he was! Bayern have had tons of world class and legendary players, but I don't think we'll see a player of his characther and type again. The "Raumdeuter" was something he invented himself pretty much. He could at times be really akward on the ball and on a pitch, but he always found a way to get a goal or an assists.

When you do it over so many years it's not a coincidence.

When I think of clubs, some kits just stick out to me.

I think of Manchester United with the big AIG sponsor during Ronaldo's initial stint. With Chelsea, I always think of the "Samsung" sponsor with players like Drogba and Ballack.

Even with players, when I think of Buffon, it's the 2006 World Cup red and gold Puma kits that stand out to me and are legendary

With Bayern, it's the red kit with gold numbering/stripes that they had when they lost to Chelsea in the final. To me, those are the peak Bayern kit that stands out to me this century. Why they haven't gone back to that model/color combination, I have no clue. I also liked the old T-Mobile logos better.
