Surprised by this. Not really convinced of him anymore tbh. Wonder if the Real interest has just died down.
He's not what he used to be, but I feel he has improved again. And I still think this is a much better solution than us having to go out and spend 50+ mio euros for a new LB. And that LB is in most cases not even gonna be an upgrade, if so it's only slightly.

Apparently Bayern and Davies came to an agreement regarding the salary (according to the media), by stretching the contract to 2030 until 2029. That way both parties got what they wanted.

Real Madrid was interested until the end (how interested I have no idea of), but the interest was there. Davies maybe figured he might end up riding the bench in Real and when Bayern came with another improved offer it made most sense to him. He can also become a Bayern legend now.

How the fuck is Man City making so much money? Zero history and barely any fan base.

FIFA financial fair play is only relevant for certain club apparently.
United is impressive. They been a laughing stock for so many years, but they continue to be amongst the worlds richest clubs.

And they're even staying in the top5 without CL money.

what about psg then, they play in a shitty league and were founded like only ~50 years ago

at least city is a historic club founded in way back in the 19th century and had some domestic and international titles before the sheiks took over

ffp is a weapon that doesn't target certain clubs though

Fantastic news with the extention, but the release clause is making it a little bitter. I guess this is what he demanded to stay.

Will just be a matter of time before someone pays it and he leaves I'm afraid.

The game that just ended was probably the worst Bayern game I seen in years. Digusting to watch, through and through.

Players that failed to control even the most simple of passes, passes that was without any precision and not to forget not a single shot on target. Leverkusen hitting the bar 2 or was it 3 times.

We should've lost this game 3-0.

@ALC

Saw these on my Youtube recommendation, thought of you as you mentioned Robben was (like me), one of your all time favorites. What a player he was, one of the most iconic of all time too for a number of reasons.

That game in 2010 vs United will always stand clear in my mind. The signing of Robben and Ribery was one of the biggest reason we started becoming a powerhouse in Europe again. He almost single handedly took us to the final that year with his performances in the KO's.
