Lucas Hernandez to PSG rumors out there today out of nowhere. To me, this would be brilliant business by Bayern to be able to sell him to a club like PSG and get a nice payday.

He's a very good player, but Bayern have de Ligt, Upamecano (despite his meltdown vs City), and maybe it allows them to convince Pavard to extend to compete with Upamecano rather than being forced to sell him.

Bayern badly needs a legit long term striker to replace Lewandowski (despite Choupo-Moting filling in very well this year before getting hurt) and some muscle in the midfield to support Kimmich defensively, and this sale would greatly help fund that.

If I'm Bayern, I'd rather sell an injury prone Hernandez and keep Pavard than vice versa.... especially considering Hernandez will bring in a higher transfer fee. Although I really like Pavard and think he's played tremendous this season (despite a killer foul in the box last match that killed Bayern). To me, he's one of the more underrated and underappreciated players for Bayern.

I'm telling you, move Pavard to the 6. He can tackle, pass, shoot, and he can cover ground.

I also don't think Lucas would want to join PSG, he's never played in France and we always beat them, I'm not sure why he'd want to move to a lower league at this point.

I follow this guy pretty closely, absolutely dope vid.

I didnt watch the video, but Bayern ruined their season after selling Lewandowski, and not signing a replacement because Nagelsmann wanted to play positionless attacking football without a striker.... which was abandoned after about 6 weeks when it was clear they had a massive hole in attack with no presence inside the box. Watching de Ligt up playing as a striker late in a game was embarrassing.

Not to mention that Bayern had a strong core of respected leaders in Lewandowski, Neuer, and Muller, and Nagelsmann burned bridges with all of them early on. That's just not a smart move for success.

And to top it off, as much as I respect him as an all time great, and is maybe the greatest keeper of all time, Neuer fucked everything up with his skiing accident. Sommer is a competent keeper and as good of a replacement as they could have gotten at the time, Neuer means so much to that team and losing him killed any hope in the Champions League.

Firing Nagelsmann when they did definitely killed the season, but they were playing some uninspiring football with him in charge, especially within the league. They werent going to beat City in the CL, and they had already blown like a 8-10 point lead in the league in about 3 matches after the World Cup. If he didnt get fired when he did, he certainly was giving them every reason to do it after the season with his coaching performance over the past 2 years, including an embarrassing defeat to Villareal in the CL last year.

And once again, for as much as I admire and respect Oliver Kahn as a player, I think he needs to lose his job. And Salihamidzic would be on thin ice as well. I'd be begging Karl-Heinz Rummenigge to come back short term to bring some stability to management as figure out who will fill those roles long term.

Spot on in most of what you said.

About Lucas Hernandez, I really like him and think he's a great defender when he's ready and fit. But the problem is, he's too injury prone and his transfer costs us 80 mio euros.

If PSG really wants him and he is truly considering it, then we should sell imo. As you mentioned we can reinvest the money in other parts of the field where we really need it, especially the striker department.

10 years ago today, that team was unstoppable. Two 40 year olds Robben and Ribery would've been better than current Sane and Gnabry lol.

lol Buffon is my favorite player of all time any my picture to the left.... but I can appreciate the greatness of Neuer

If someone wants to argue and tell me Neuer is the greatest GK of all time, it's more than fair.... same thing I'd say about anyone who says that about Buffon

Yashin, Maier, Zoff, and Buffon over Neuer, in my opinion.
I never saw the first 3 play.... and I even didnt get to see Buffon during his younger years and with Parma outside of highlight videos

I've pretty much seen Neuer play his entire career. And compared to the keepers in his era, he certainly has an argument that he's the best.

Regardless, if you're talked about in the same company as the keepers you listed, you've done pretty well for yourself

Robben & Ribery were spectacular and it's almost unfair to compare anyone to them.

That being said, Gnabry & Coman certainly had their moments when Bayern won the Champions League a few years ago.

I think Sane is the most frustrating. Half the season he'll look like one of the top wingers in the world and the other half he looks like shit with terrible body language and it's maddening. He's one of those "if he can just consistently put it all together, he'd be a superstar" guys. But I guess that's what separates the great from the good players.

I think Coman & Gnabry are just good, solid wingers. Neither are superstars, but both are competent and could play consistent minutes for any club in the world. Like Pavard previously, I think Gnabry gets way too much hate & blame from Bayern fans (at least from Bayern twitter accounts lol). He's a pretty good finisher for a winger and his passing is underrated. You can count on him for 15-20 goals/10 assists a season rotating with other players.

I actually thought Bayern were at their best in attack this year with Musiala on the left (where he and Davies complimented each other well), and Muller/Sane, where they often interchanged and played very well of each other.

That makes ZERO sense to me.

If they bring back Karl-Heinz Rummenigge short term to bring stability and help guide them as they learn on the job, and hire someone to hold the hand of whoever the Sporting Director would be, then yeah, I could get it. They could groom them for the job with guys who have massive experience and success.

Hiring 1 or both of them to replace Kahn or Salihamidzic outright? That feels insane with the zero experience they have.

Although I'm not certain that Uli isnt still pulling all the strings from behind the scenes anyway.

KHR has already said he will not return to the Club.
Hoeness is already the head of the Supervisory Board.

You want to bring Gerd Mueller back from the dead to run Technical Director?

Got to move forward, man, not backwards.

Sane's issue is his GF/Slag is an American cunt who moved back to Manchester or London in the WC break because she "hates" Germany. I'm sure she's super intelligent and speaks German fluently.....

That fucked him for a lot of the year. Bayern fans were adding her on IG/SnapChat and shit talking her to her face.....in a language she didn't understand, then she was complaining to Leroy, who was having such a good time, he decided to go off on a teammate and got punched in the fucking CHOPS! :lol2:

We need Lahm, but he's out until after the Euros.

40 year old Robben or Ribery wouldn't be good enough even for the bench at Bayern, let alone have a crack at Sane or Gnabry.
Let's not get nostalgic. Both were amazing players but they are no longer good enough for top tier football in any of the top 10 European Leagues.
