With german talents maybe, but with international ones not so much anymore. Even Bayern doesn't want to pay what EPL clubs throw out for players like Sancho soon, or Barca for Dembele. They don't have it as easy as they used to.
They are able to spend large sums when they want for hernandez, tolisso and maybe coutinho, but I agree with you the bundesliga has always had less recognition than Serie A, laLiga and BPL to attract stars.
This lack of attractiveness is compensated by the fact that Germany always provides great players. When you see Gnabry who only costs 10 million, it's less flashy than Sancho or Dembele but he is a better footballer, so they are right why spent 100 million when you have an equally good German who costs 10 times less and who will do everything to come to Bayern. The only drawback of this policy is that it weakens the level of the championship, by stealing the best players of the others clubs.
