That's a substantial difference between Wolfsburg & Leipzig imo.

And to your second question, no. That scenario is basically what happened with Hoffenheim,people weren't really happy about it, but no protests at all.

I get people not being happy with the situation - I don't get the level of vitriol.

In the absence of anything to convince me otherwise, I'm inclined to conclude a lot of the issue is down to RB Leipzig suddenly winning.
