The kid got shit mentality
This may be covering ground you've already been asked about, but why do people appear more hostile towards Red Bull Leipzig than they do towards Bayer Leverkusen?

Is it just standard old money versus new money stuff?

Or does Bayer get viewed differently due to being tied to the city like FIAT to Turin?

Hope Hamburg get relegated this year.

The fewer teams left that have never been relgated the better, as it makes Aberdeen even more special.

And because Hamburg fans are cunts.

Personly i hate the energy drink because theyre new in the business without any history and obviously also because i dont want Bayern Munich to let them run with the title - could better accept if it was Dortmund, Schalke, Hertha and so on. They are a nasty club and shouldnt be in the top of the Bundesliga. Hopefully theyre soon gone but i doubt it.

And @Red it's a couple of things, mostly that Red Bull is largely using the club simply as branding and how they circumvented the 50+1 rule.

Btw I personally wish them the best. Hope they get a league title soon.

Are you a HSV fan or just doubting they ever get relegated?
Fan is too much :D

But I lke them, mostly because of how riled up they got all other fans the past few years when they repeatedly dodged relegation so incredibly lucky and undeservedly.

Get back to me when Juve get back their status of never being relegated.
Meh, that BS doesn't count in my books.

Plus we now hold a few Serie B records becsuse of that too

I also dont mind HSV, mostly because we allways trash them at home. :)

To be serious though i dont have any hate or dislike for them. I hope they sooner or later can get back to the top, its a giant club from a big city. Shouldnt fight for relegation.

No. They shouldnt be accepted at all. Its more than just them being new in the game, its just everything about them that is :inter:

Don't know about how they beat the 50+1 rule.

But how is what Red Bull is doing different from a factory owner in the 1920s (going back to the Juve comparison) buying the club to try and increase goodwill towards him and his company?

For the avoidance of doubt, I don't raise this issue due to having any sympathy for RB Leipzig - I'm just curious at how people see their situation as being radically different to what has happened at so many other clubs.

If only the goverment regulated that red bull shit. I hate capitalism and I miss the breadline from old days in yugoslavia
Mateschitz ain't that bad on some issues actually, you'd probably call him a commie too based on some comments :D

His Servus TV move was disgusting though

Tbf, a factory club developing from workers playing the game is a lot different from some random foreign company buying the club and completely reshaping their identity to promote their brand.

And there is a lot of antagonism in Germany against Wolfsburg & Bayer too, though of course far different from what Leipzig faces

*Demoted. Besides, you finished bottom twice and avoided relegation on technicalities. One slightly more serious than the other.
Only aware of one.

And we only avoided a relegation play-off, not relegation.

And we flew threw our other relegation playoff.

Was at the home games.

Game against Dundee Utd is the first one I remember being at - aged 7.

So are you saying Pittodrie doesn't have a Gavrilo Princip Stand, or at least a dugout?
