All jokes aside, here is how I would line up next season if it was up to me, based on current rumors.

Di Greg

Cambiaso - Kalulu - Bremer - Theo

Conceicao - Ederson - Locatelli - Thuram

Osimhen - Yildiz

Bench: Leoni, Gatti, Savona, Weah, Mckennie, Bouaddi, Koopmeiners, Kolo, et cetera

This would basically be a hybrid 3-5-2/4-4-2 with Theo running the left flank all by himself, and Thuram playing that role that Marchisio did a few seasons, or even Rabiot. Locatelli would be holding similarly to Pjanic and Ederson would be B2B like Khedira. Cambiaso could tuck inside next to Loca as a falseback, while Yildiz has a free role next to Osimhen. Relatively simple and we can have two lines of four if we need to sit deep to defend the lead. I think we could finally win some battles in the center with this midfield, but keep solid width. Best of all worlds.
This would take like an investment of another €200M. Not happening.

There are rumors that we will sell 100M worth of players, with 50-100M in capital investment, so it's possible. I doubt we get Bouaddi and Osimhen remains a pipe dream. It could very well be Retegui and Dodo instead of Osi and Theo.

Here is how i think and wish things should be played out this summer.

GK - We need a Perin sub.

In Defense We need Two CB's One of them should be Leoni and another one more mature(Aguerd is mentioned) but i would go for someone else like like Hancko, Inacio or Hincapie even though he will be very expesive and almost impossible, but a man can dream.
Defense should be Bremer, Kalulu, , Rugani, Cabal, Leoni + 1 Strong CB to play in first 11.

Midfield should be Thuram, Ederson Loca, Koop, Miretti and Mckennie in the rotational mix . I wouldn't mind selling Koop if that means another better midfielder will come that will not cost us fortune.

Right and Left wing backs.
Left - Cambiaso (weah/mckennie) or bring some talent like Alberto costa or maybe Tavares because of the rumors.
Right - Alberto Costa +1(Dodo/Wesley) Weah do not convince me so here we need a Comolli Miracle otherwise we will be suffering in this position.

WIngers or Attacking midlfilders- Yildiz, Chico, Gonzalez and another one because Adzic is not convincing.

Attack We might do well with Kolo Muani and a player like Retegui or Jonathan David.

So, to summarize

We have to buy

1 Second GK
1 Striker (Retegui/David)
2 Central Defenders (Leoni+ another more expensive and better CB than Gatti)
1 Right wing back (Wesley/Dodo)
1 Attacking mid ( Ben Seghir or Akliuche woud be perfect but i see Sancho rumors mentioned so no idea what will Commoli do )
1 Midfielder. (Ederson)

We Have to sell/get rid of

Perin
Vlahovic
Gatti
Douglas Luiz
Kelly
Millik
Mbangula
Weah
Savona(loan)

Not sure how much is this doable. but i can see the team improving and fight for the scudetto if they go with this direction.

Back when Serie A was an elite league and Juve were the 2nd richest club in the world.

Fast forward 20 years, dinosaurs ruined the league, oil clubs came in, and now the top earning clubs have almost double the revenue of Juve. Unless that gap is closed you will NEVER see a Juve side like that again.

So we signed David, can be a great move, and we are pushing Dusan out (could be necessary). Then we are negotiating for extending Kolo or signing Osimhen.

What's the plan? To have 2 very high paid strikers + Yildiz who is basically the first player in the starting 11 right now? That plus maybe still paying Dusan's crazy salary

If we sign Osimhen, who would be an unvelibable signing, he will be the starter. So did we sign David on high wages to bench him?

Seems top heavy when our team needs so much work at the back.

We did see two different top Juve teams since then though. Funnily enough Buffon was in all of them

Let’s see in a few years. I can easily see Di Gregorio, Thuram and Yildiz being considered world class if they continue on their current trajectory.

If we sign someone like Osimhen, he’s definitely world class too.

I was talking at the moment, of course I hope that we have WC players in a few years, Kenan and Thuram indeed are for sure on the right path. Osimhen would be one for sure, I hope we get him..

i cannot remember a juventus without a few world class players. back in the mid 80s when i started to follow the club, we had platini, scirea, laudrup, then we had moggi's stacked teams (adp, zidane, nedved, buffon, zambrotta, cannavaro, thuram, trez, endless list really), then even during calciopoli, few of those remained, even for delneri's shitshow. then we had one of the strongest cores for almost a decade with buffon, bbc, mvp, pogba, then higuain, and of course ronaldo. and then nothing. di maria was probably our last (washed up) world class player and even he flopped here

now we cannot afford the very top, so we need to up our scouting game. that's why bringing back tognozzi could potentially lift our chances a bit. he scouted yildiz, huijsen and soulé, maybe he could bring the next pirlo or vidal too
