I am curious about Conceicao - no-one seems to have him in the starting line-up. He and Nico are best on the right although of the two I think Nico adapts better to the left. I see Nico as a Vice Vlahovic option too - so many of his goals are from well within the box - many of them headers.

Yildiz looks better in the centre but that will be Koop's natural position so I am not sure what the starting line up will be. Lets face it, even with a limited squad Motta surprised everyone in his team selection in the first 2 games. My gut feel is that the line-ups we have in mind could very well be totally wrong.
I think Mottas philopsophy is that there are no guaranteed starters. Players must give their all in training and earn their place in the team. Douglas Luiz is still adapting to Italian football and I bet both Locatelli and Fagioli are impressing in training. I'm not too focused on selecting a "best 11", it's a matter of having options and natural competition for each position. The signings over the weekend is all about that: we have a truly competitive squad now

So
GK We are good
Def - Weak link at the center.
Mid - Looks great
Wingers - Seems ready to go and there is Sancho as well who might join
Attack - ? Vlahovic could keep scoring and might get out of form, We did nothing to secure a vice Vlahovic. Milik isnt the forward we need.

i hope Yildiz will keep somehow his central postion, he is too good to be used as a winger...i hope motta sees that
I think he will have more space on the left. Motta likes inverted wingers and so I could see Yildiz stay wide and cut in to score goals. He will score more goals as a left winger than attacking midfielder. And we also just banked heavily on one of the best attacking midfielders in the game in Koopmeiners. I'm sure the idea is to play Yildiz on the left

There are pros and cons like everything.
He is very good cutting from the left but at center he is closer to goal.
Reminds me a bit of T.Henry in this regard.
The question is how do you play Thuram D.L Koop and Yildiz all together
Unless we play Koop and D.L behind Yildiz

You guys are all making sense, in my opinion:
I hope Yildiz will keep somehow his central postion, he is too good to be used as a winger...i hope motta sees that

But I think he will have more space on the left. Motta likes inverted wingers and so I could see Yildiz stay wide and cut in to score goals. Juventus hasn't played with true wingers since I can remember. So the idea/definition of a winger may be different. Messi played as a RW in Barcelona and that opened up the space for him to cut in and score goals with his left foot. Similar I could see Yildiz cut in fron the left and score goals with his right foot

The turth we all dont like to admit:
GK - We are ok
Defense - Bremer is the only player we should really hold on to and he is injured, Kalulu is actually playing well.
RB - Savona - He isnt a strong player, he is a temporary fix due to lack of funds.
LB - When we play Cambiasso there we are good although his defensive skills arent that impressing.
RW - Conceicao shown up and if he continues he will be a very good player for us. Nico - He is a good player but dont expect him to be amazing since he isnt an amazing player.
LW - Yildiz isnt at the level we need at LW - He can be brilliant at times but meh at other times.
CM - Locatelli is returning which is good, Kephren still isnt there and D.L flopped until now, Fagioli has his moments but he needs to put more effort when defending.
AMC - Koop is good but unfortunately he is injured.
CF- Vlahovic flopped for us. no need denying it.

In other words D.G,Kalulu,Cambiasso,Locatelli and Koop are the ones who earned/should definitely earn their starting shirt which means we have 6 other weak spots we need to address (left Bremer out due to ACL but he is definitely there as well).
In CM I would ignore it for now since D.L can turn good, Thuram can certainly improve.
CF LW CB and RB are 4 places we are super weak now.
I`d fix RB last but the others need immediate attention.

I think midfield is still underwhelming mostly because Lulz and Toolame are not living up to expectations, which means there's basically no upgrade in this part even if Lockteli and Fagioli are slightly better than they are last season. One can even argue that our most creative midfielder is ... Cambiaso lul.

Holes too many.

Slightly? The guy is like a completely different guy. He is twice the player he was last season but its not really a difficult thing since he stank so much last season.

I think it's good to have a proper look at the squad. I've been saying that consistency is the main thing because we've seen top performances from nearly everybody it's just that it's 1 in every 5. It's hard to tell who was simply having the game of their lives and who is class but due to reasons us smoothbrains can't understand (fitness niggles, coach instructions, adaption, water carrying for other players) but summmising as best I can and taking that into account, presuming that consistency will come, imo the players that are up to standard quality-wise (ie could feature in a starting XI in a CL final) are:

Di Gregorio
--------- Gatti Bremer Cambiaso
Locatelli
Conceciao Koop Yildiz ---------
Vlahovic
There's a few players there that currently are not playing close to that level (Gatti, Yildiz, Vlahovic) but I believe they've shown often enough that they have it in them when conditions are right (creating these conditions is the job of the coach obvs). Koopmeiners has been good yes, but he's not yet been the superstar we need and paid for. Constance has shown he's got it but needs to mature a little. Greggs hasn't been properly tested yet but that's normal for a Juve goalie and Cambiaso needs some time to develop but he already looks like a classic Juventus workhorse bread-and-butter player.

If the CL final was tomorrow we'd get demolished. What I mean is that over the next few years if things are managed well these will be the players still in our first team and performing to a top level. That's what should happen imo we've got some great ingredients that should turn world class in the correct conditions.

To be honest If it was me I rather put Koop a bit behind (next to Locatelli) and use Yildiz behind the forward - Its the only way I can think of that can use the best in both players while co-exist. Yildiz on the left is just not it. Yes he has brilliant moments but we need a more consistent threat for our opponents.
I dont like Sancho really but in this sense he could have made us a lot better.
Gatti - When both Bremer and Kalulu are fit - I`d play them over Gatti - Kalulu actually surprised me. I thought of him as a meh player but up until now he is actually quite surprisng.

This is what I would do at this point.

Out:
David Luiz 10M
Kily Gonzalez 10M
Locatelli 20M
Vlahovic 20M (unless he's gay, then keep at all costs)
Milik 5M
The Cabal Guy 20M
Mbangula 10M
Rouhi 5M
Fagioli 20M
Melo 10M
Danilo 10M

Total: 140M

In:

Chunko Conceicao 30M
Guler 50M
Tchouameni 40M
Malik Tilman 20M
Ricardo Pepi 20M

Total: 160M

Easy as pie.

So considering the latest news we might look like this: DG; Hacko; Kalulu Gatti Savona; Locatelli Thuram; Yildiz Zirkzee Conceicao; Kolo Muani?
I benched Koop because he is currently out of form.
