Some thoughts for next year:

Out: Morata, Sandro, Rabiot, McKennie (inb4 angry Muricans )

In: Udogie, Rovella, Fagioli, Zaniolo, Jorginho

Vlahovic
Chiesa - Dybala - Zaniolo
Locatelli - Jorginho
Pellegrini - Chiellini - De Ligt - Cuadrado
Tek

Kean
Bernardeschi - Fagioli - Soule
Rovella - Zakaria
Udogie - Rugani - Bonucci - Danilo
X

The reserve team could use some work. I’d sign a midfielder who could play every role and a experienced ST.

Oh totally forgot about Arthur, might sell him aswel unless some miracle happens

Trying to come with a new proper starting XI but no real inspiration. The lack of good LB’s is stressing me out. Can’t come up with a better name than Gaya of Valencia.

Eventually, with our current players I'd like this lineup

Szczesny
Cuadrado Bonucci De Ligt De Sciglio
Locatelli Arthur Zakaria
Dybala
Vlahovic Chiesa
This will be a 4-3-2-1. Chiesa isn’t a the sort of forward to pair up like that with #9. He’ll play behind and deeper, wider than Dybala, but not forward of him. Could he be converted into a second/support striker? Sure, but I don’t think it would have him at his best.

Danilo is probably a better + more consistent RB than Cuadrado currently. But either would do.

Seeing as you have Chiesa in the line-up, this would be for next year:

Tek
Danilo-Bonucci-De Ligt-Cambiaso
Zakarias-Rovella-Locatelli
Dybala-Chiesa
Vlahovic

or if we go 4-3-3, then up top:

Cuadrado-Vlahovic-Chiesa

If we buy Morty (for much reduced fee), 4-3-3

Chiesa-Vlahovic-Morty

Chiesa - Vlahovic
Dybala
Locatelli - De Jong - Zakaria
Wijndal - Bonucci - De Ligt - Danilo
Szczesny

Morata - Kaio Jorge
Zaniolo
Fagioli - Rovella - McKennie
Pellegrini/De Sciglio - Romagnoli/Chiellini - Rugani - Cuadrado
Ospina

Cuads and Zaniolo might start as well ofc and I'd take Romagnoli on a free to make room for the bigger additions; De Jong & Zaniolo.

Kean, Rabiot, Arthur and Alex Sandro offloaded.

Since I believe Dybala is gone I hope for someone influential - Nkunku is my dream partner for Vlahovic, SMS is the dream for midfield (yeah not Pogba although I would really like us to sign Pogba should we fail to do that)

As for reality - I see both Dybala and MDL leave and Bremer midfielder and a forward to join us
Which midfielder? Tough to know
Which forward? Either Zaniolo or someone on a free transfer (or cheap alternative)

Overall result - Should we not get someone who means business we will remain the same which means top 4 spot (even challenging for the title but not winning it)

I think Morata is even more unlikely to stay here for next season.
I dont know.. I think its about 50-50 maybe even 60-40 for departure but Dybala is more like 80 percent and Im generous about his staying possibility

Not sure where to put this because it doesn’t fit in a transfer window. But fifa is allowing foreign players to temporarily leave their clubs in Russia.

Some players available could include these and considering our injuries, it may not be a bad idea to poach 1-2 for depth.
