Going back to the post about the city of Turin, I have been there a couple of times, and I love it (obviously Juve being there has something to do with it)!

Turin is described as an ugly city - what you have to bear in mind is that it is usually Italians (or people living in Italy) that describe it. The Italians are pretty spoilt when it comes to beautiful cities.

I went there expecting a horrible, industrial city (as I'd been led to believe it was).......but I was suprised by how nice it was. Turin is much more beautiful than any English city, it really puts our cities to shame. I managed to walk straight past Montero in the street, and I met a few players after training etc.

You can therefore imagine how nice Rome is! Apart from the fact you have knobheads like Totti walking round.

So when people say Turin is ugly, just remember it's probably the Italians saying it. Compared to England, it's fantastic.

really...? i've been to a few cities in england.....birmingham, london, bath....just to name a few, and i loved them. maybe coz u're local so u mite think english cities are ugly. but i dont think they are.....then again, i'm just a biased tourist

Insomma, rimangono insolute due questioni:

2) che necessità hai di scegliere come avatar la faccia di Berlusconi. Detto in altre parole: questo è un sito di calcio, perché a tutti i costi devi far sapere a tutti che sei berlusconiano?

Secondo me sono due cose estremamente stupide. E' stupido essere milanisti in un forum di juventini, questo vuol dire andare a cercarsi rogne. Se tu vuoi semplicemente parlare di calcio allora vai in un sito di carattere generale, dove il tuo nome "incubo rossonero" non offende nessuno.

La seconda cosa estremamente stupida è sbandierare il tuo amore per berlusconi in un sito dove si parla di calcio.

Ora mi hai davvero seccato.

Incubo rossonero and I were discussing about the utility of choosing an avatar with Berlusconi's face here where people should talk about soccer and not about politics. I think it's quite stupid.

The second argument is about his name. I don't understand why a milan supporter has to stay here where juventus supporters talk about their favourite team.
I suggested him to find a milan supporters forum in order to talk about his team and an other politics forum where he can talk about his favourite prime minister.

If I should go in an Inter supporters forum with a name like "JUVEMANIA" and if I would choose an avatar with Che Guevara's face, I think a lot of people wouldn't like my choises and would attack me. But I won't do this because I think it should be such a stupid thing.

That's all.

Sorry for my poor English, I'm trying to improve it.

If you have just been in Roma or Barcellona, you'll find Torino ugly and grey. There is no comparison possible between theese cities and Torino.

But if you come here you'll see such a nice city.

Today I had some pictures of old Comunale Stadium and Juventus Headquarter...tomorrow I'll post them.

I'll try to have some pictures of Delle Alpi as soon as possible. And some pictures of the city if you want.

Tornando a noi, è verissimo che un avatar del Signore degli anelli non c'entra niente con il calcio, ma non offende nessuno.
Un avatar con la faccia di Berlusconi o con quella del Che Guevara può offendere chi politicamente la pensa in maniera diversa da te. Poi non c'è mica solo l'avatar...c'è pure la firma sotto ogni tuo messaggio. Mi riferisco a quella frase sulla magistratura italiana...quello è fare politica! Tu, scrivendo una cosa del genere, stai facendo politica in un forum dove si dovrebbe parlare di calcio.
Non ci trovi nessuna incongruenza in tutto ciò?
Per te è tutto normale?
E' come se andassi a lavorare con la maglia del milan...il tuo capo ufficio ti direbbe "senti, qui sei per lavorare, mica per tifare milan".

I think he has every right to choose whatever avatar he wishes. He's not here to talk about the avatar, it's just the image he chooses, since the face depicted is the club's president. Hey, he's not choosing pictures of burning juve logos with $#!^ all over them, so as long as he 'minds his own business' regarding avatars, i won't be bothered.

I actually think Incubo's presence has given the forum a bit of life. As nice as it is to be in our own little black and white paradise, it's always useful to hear two sides of an argument. I personally have learned a fair bit from Incubo, especially considering i only became a football fan 4 years ago, while he's probably been following the game a lot longer than myself.

Che Guevera is different altogether. If you chose Luciano Moggi as your avatar, I hardly think those Inter supporters would give you stick about it.
