In polish I'd find some too and they all sound like, you know they are swear words even if you don't know polish.
My Polish friend taught me "spierdalai" (not sure about the spelling), but that's all I know :)

anyway, how the hell did we end up talking about swearing in different languages?

Oh maybe that's why he didn't refuse to wear YELLOW either, even though he deep down knows its just not his colour. You have to make some sacrifices for publicity.. I understand.. Buffon..;)

:star:Juve and out for Buffon? :star:

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Gigi Buffon has revealed that he may quit the game when his current contract at Juventus expires.

The No 1 is tied to the Delle Alpi outfit until 2009 and he seems ready to end his career with the Turin giants.

"It is difficult to improve on Juventus," said the Italy ace. "I have a contract with the Bianconeri until 2009 and that could be enough for me.

"At this moment in time I have no desire to play abroad either, as I’m not curious about football outside of Italy."

Looking ahead to the new campaign, the former Parma shot-stopper is convinced that the Scudetto will be won by Milan, Inter or Juve.

"It will be a three horse race," he continued. "Juventus? We perhaps lacked character last season. This time though we will also have a 100 per cent Alex Del Piero."

Buffon will next be in action this evening as he will guard the Azzurri goal in the World Cup qualifier at Moldova.

"There is a good mix of young players and experience here now," he noted. "There is a good spirit too. Now all we need are the results."

I think the chance of this happening is about 0.01% Surely Buffon wouldn't be stupid enough to just think "Hmmm, I'm the best keeper in the world and can play for another 15 years, but I'll just hang up my gloves and stop getting the millions of Euros I get for doing what I love" :wallbang:

Thanx. I was watching english TV and movies and at the beginning english cartoons - it was like 10 or 11 years ago, but I never went to any private school or sth to learn it. I must admit that I've learnt by myself.
I don't count my high school, for the level there was so low that I didn't have to learn at all, even to my examination for the secondary-school cerificate.

Wow, you learnt it yourself? That's awesome.... even so, your spelling and grammer seems to be in check too, and I didn't imagine you could learn that from watching TV :)

That's what really annoys me about Korea... they say they want to learn English so much and they teach it in schools, yet they insist on dubbing the audio of every single show and movie that's shown on TV... idiots :wallbang:

I read some grammar books and rules, but it wasn't a problem for me. It's my favourite language, next to Russian, so I really like to speak or write in english.

What about the level of English at schools, for in Poland is really low.
