The goalkeeper collected several wins in Italy and a special triumph in a World Championship, therefore he knows that talent isn’t enough to go through such a particular competition. This is the reason why the Azzurri - who are however talented lads - can have some chances against Spain, the reigning European and World champions: “Spain mustn’t fear Italy, they are strong and certainly know their abilities, therefore they don’t fear any side - explained Buffon - In football, stronger sides always start with an advantage, and the Spanish team is very strong, but some times good sides win, therefore we have hopes.
