Any fans here?
I know id get a let of shit for this, but well..i think he's pretty good. Not great, but definatley good good.Radio friendly, very commercial songs, some of his stuff has a very 80's feel to it.That is obviously the stuff that i like more. For example,Heat Of The Night is one of my favourite songs ever.Classic 80's.Then there's Its Only Love that featured Tina Turner. That has a classic 80's feel to it too.Ive never found Summer Of 69 spectacular. Its an OK song, but definatley not in my favourite BA songs.Run To You,thats another song with a signature 80's touch to it,and i love it.I could go on and on here..Reckless is the album that i love most. Its one of the best albums from the 80's IMO.Heaven,One Night Love Affair,Somebody,Its Only Love,Run To You...all incredible songs. And yes, some of my favourite Bryan Adams songs are on this album.
i thought he was Ok in the 90's too.The sound on Reckless and Into The Fire wasnt there, but he did have his hits. The 90's were probably better for him commercialy than the 80's.Id prefer his 80's sound anyday though. When You're Gone for example,is one my favourite Bryan Adams songs and its the only time i didnt feel like strangling Mel C...and its a 90's song.
Ok im done.
Now you can laugh.
Gits.
