30 isnt bad for a defender in Italy, tbh that is still a peak age, no disrespect to the league itself but whilst john terry is moaning about his condition at 30 years old in england, he would have a comfortable time in Italy

Someone promising instead of a 30 years old, never been in a proper team, overly valued one. If they can't get any they should just stick with Sorensen and Bonucci and stop making shitty last minute moves just for the sake of it.
Juve need an experienced player to organise the defence, not a kid who needs to be guided.

So what if he is 30 years old? That doesn't make him a bad defender. You saw what happened last time we bought a so-called 'talent' to our defence. We need experience and stability and Alves will provide this. When things start to go better for us, we can concentrate on a younger talent for the CB spot.

Bottom line is we need players to get us back into CL, then we can worry about the future.

what i'd like to know is, is alves another bonehead like bonucci and chiellini? or is he more of a organiser and slightly more elegant. From the little ive seen of him suggests that its possibly not the latter
