So you guys were mad at Melo cause he is "unstable and a red card magnet", but now you are jizzing over Bruno Alves who seems the same? Confusing.

and penalties conceded.
atleast we wont be soft tackling, and then spending hours on end how it was or wasnt a penalty. these guys have experience will only be rough when requiree, enough to stamp and impose themselfs rather than doing a bonucci.

Why would Spalletti sell him after one single year and after spending so much on him last summer? Even more, why would he replace him with Bonucci?
Alves wants to leave Russia and he turns 30 in November. Also just because they paid 22 Million it does not mean they'll get that back. Look at Diego for example.

He had only 1 red card in his entire carrer, that one was against benfica. And someone says he is a troublemaker ;/

Lugano, though, is a very bad boy. 12 matches under a suspensions.

I'm just talking about "he would destroy all", "he is a brute, we need him" type of comments. The same things that Melo was doing and got carded for.
Well Chiellini is aptly named "Killini" for being a very tough guy, but he had just 3 yellow cards in Serie A last season. It's all very exaggerated that they're all these clueless cavemen that go in knee high with studs showing, they're rated so highly because they can be intelligent defenders (not speaking about Lichtsteiner here).

Felipe Melo seems to be the only one that stamps, elbows and kicks people in the face.

I know that they'll never get that back since they overpaid at first place. But when you pay so much money for a defender it's strange to replace him after one year, losing lots of money in the process.

id say its alves desire and splattis bonucci fetish that can make this all happen with ease both logitically and financially. cant see us overspending on this. by the way, whats the reported figures?

Then again we paid 15 Million for Bonucci, so perhaps Zenit see it as an equal exchange?

Well, we paid 22 M€ for Bonucci and we are getting rid of him.
