You know I was about to stop watching after the first three episodes, I thought I'd be stupid to continue, but just continue and duuuuude, you wont regret I promise.

It is one of the best (if not the best).

I actually liked the first season most because nothing beats a good origin story. Keep watching imo BB is easily amongst the best 50 shows I have ever watched

I will give it a go, but so far it has nothing on The Wire and I doubt it will. Nice to hear it picks up later

However not the best one, not even close to it in my books.

Having said that, it's quite overrated.

'spectacular' was the word I was looking when I though about the show, but not in a good way 'spectacular' if that makes sense

From the expectations from all the recommendations I had I was shocked how bad it was. But that is just because I was expecting one of the best series of all time. From a comics point of view it's sort of cool it seems, but not as a serious series. Anyway, will see what's what after at lesat one season.

Classic case of judging a book by its cover. It's stupid to expect the first 2 episodes to accurately represent the rest of the seasons.

While the 1st season has its moments, the show really starts taking off in season 2 and getting better with each season. Just be patient.

A couple of years ago, I gave up after the pilot. A few months ago, after watching Bryan Cranston in Sneaky Pete, I decided to give Breaking Bad another go, and boy, I wasn't disappointed. Stick with it for at least the first season.

They are too much different, I really love BCS, the writing the pace, the acting, the whole package and it is indeed the best running TV show at the moment but so was Br Ba when it was on.

Exaggerated settings etc are not even a bad thing for a show. Comes down to your own expectations/priorities
