For most of the series I was a big fan of the Walt character, but through the last few episodes I've started to dislike him seriously, some really bad decisions

You all think Walt was planning to kill Mike or he just got angry in the moment? I'm pretty sure he went to that meeting with the intention of killing Mike but my roomate disagrees

"Walt killed Mike out of pure emotion. Mike insulted his manhood for the last time by telling him that his place was to be oppressed by Gus. Mike was also a loose end with too much heat on him. In the end, he had to go. Breaking Bad fans really need to realize that Walt is Heisenberg now and he won't allow to be disrespected like his former self. Game on"
I think that in the next episode Walt is going after the other nine people with Todd because he have connections in prison

I think he was definitely planning on killing him. When he got the call, he volunteered to pick up Mike's bag. If he didn't have something in mind, that would've been too risky. Mike insulting him actually made him act on his thoughts, otherwise I think he would've just left.
It's not just about disrespect, he just couldn't have Mike divulging any important information to the DEA.

Didn't he take Mike's gun from his bag before getting out of his own car initially? I think he went there planning to kill Mike once he got the names but couldn't actually bring himself to do it until he got angry.

I don't think he was planning on killing him, he just wanted the nine names but in the heat of the moment Heisenberg didn't accept Mike's words
Anyway, what an episode! The opening scene is fantastic and everything going to happen in the next episode is inviting. I think the next episode will have a mini ending so that the audience won't be put in wait so much.
