Errol and Thurman would be fire

- - - Updated - - -

Due to network issues the best for that class would be Terrance Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. , the speed on them both :tuttosport:

Glad George Groves finally got his world title, at the 4th attempt.

Brook is currently doing well against Errol Spence.
Agreed but after that 7th round eesh...I was rooting for Brook too.

Light middle weight for Brook now can't see him holding down welter weight, too saturated with top quality fighters other than him self, with a bit of a chip now.

Have you guys seen a boxer called Vasyl Lomachenko, insane level of deft movement, foot work, intelligently quick in and out style. Feels like a new breed of boxer seeing clips of his fights.

There is so many difference divisions and competitions for me to keep track of, but it's been long time I been this impressed by a boxer, just binge watched lots of his fights, felt like watching a precise and deadly dancer. Is there others in similar style in his skill level?

Style-wise it's hard to say but in his weight class alone you have Gervonta Davis who looks the real deal. Terence Crawford at light welter. Heavier weights are known, I don't follow a lot of the smaller weights but I'd say boxing these days is real quality, high quality fighters like GGG, Andre Ward, Saul Alvarez, Guillermo Rigondeaux (when he bothers), Jorge Linares, potentially AJ in the big category.

Lomachenko potentially could be a great. Don't forget this is basically the best amateur fighter ever with two Olympic golds and a ridiculous 396-1 record. Could be a legend in the making.

Thanks for the run down.

Of all places, I read in Damian Lilliards twitter (NBA star) that Lomachenko wants to fight Gervonta Davis but Mayweather declined Vasyls request for a fight. Lilliard was hyping Davis up in that weight class and Lomachenko himself responds to Lilliard lol, to say he wants a fight but they don't.

Yeah defenitely looks potentially legendary, how he worked out Sosa and Walters was insane to see. Nicknames of Matrix like fighter makes sense for him lol. Wanna see him have rematch in his only pro loss so far, vs Salido (game he shouldn't have lost on decision).

Forgot Mikey Garcia

Which he will be fighting Linares and that fight is going to be fire.

For Davis's generation I see TMT Davis going against Shakur Stevenson from top rank in the future as a PPV fight. Promising youngsters for the future.

@Osman your right about Lomachenko he schooled what was supposed to be challenging Nicholas Walters who also has incredible power, Lomachenko schooled him out classed him moves around all angles almost teleported from one positon to another. Walters got eventually frustrated and stopped the fight himself after like the 8th round or so. Walters was supposed to be his top contender and Vasyl was toying with him. Mayweather is not stupid enough to put His boy Davis with Vasyl so early. If Vasyl goes up in weight the best fight that can happen is Crawford and Vasyl. It would be a hell of a classic match up.

- - - Updated - - -

And if Vasyl doesn't go up to welter...Terrance has Errol Spence could be the best fight in that class. I can't see Showtime network an Al Haymond fighter (Spence) going against a HBO fighter Crawford. Most likely Spence will fighting Keith "one time" Thurman. Which would also be a good fight.

- - - Updated - - -

Vasyl would be another Triple G case in his class, everyone would want to avoid and would have to fight mid table fighters.

@JuveJay speaking of Ward who you got in June Sergei Kovalev or Ward?

Yeah I seen run up to his fight vs Walter's, latter was hyped as knock out specialist who will deal serious damage to Vasyl but watching it felt like a kid toying with an ant. Lomachenko prolonged the fight for fun and litterally tempted him to punch him so much only to weave and come around angles with ease. Same thing vs Sosa, wear out opponent mentally and physically with his can't touch me style and damaging body shots til they just give up out if sheer hopelessness.

Feel free to mention me her r if you guys notice he has an interesting fight coming up next.

@Osman

Watch Lomachenkos fight against Russel Jr., Gary is a good boxer and a champ now, but back then, before the fight he was hyped like a new hope, "the fastest hands in boxing" (he does have ridiculous hand speed though) and Lomachenko just picked him apart, it was truly a masterclass.

Yeah I seen that, was brutal. That Russel guys hands was as quick as Dhalsim from street fighter but it didn't matter because Lomachenko went Neo on his ass lol.

Andre Ward keeps all the belts unified, probably got away with punching Kovalev on the dick couple of times but he took the fight out of Kovalev. Talking about moving up to cruiser weight. :juventus:
