I watched it.

Hayes probably just about deserved it in the end.

He got his tactics spot on and Valuev wasn't willing/able to be more aggressive and get into the position to land some punches.

Hopefully Hayes next fight will actually be a proper fight rather being as much a freakshow as anything else.

Valuev will be very annoyed, he was very negative and expected to win on points. As fo the wobble it was just a slip of footing, to me he didn't even look hurt, just out of breath, and that's due to his negative game plan. Haye did much better than him though, I said to all my mates he would win on points which is exactly what he did, he kept his distance then went for a little flurry to which valuev was too slow to block, also haye is one of the best strikers in the world, had the match been more open he would have knocked down valuev. Much deserved win to the hayemaker.

for Haye to win 114-112 he had to win two clear rounds, that means 8 rounds. He was not better over 8 rounds, anybody can see that.

Haybe was the negative boxer, at least that's how we do it.
I think it was 116-112? and he was better throughout the whole fight, not just 8 rounds.

Yeah, I think I'll stay up and watch this.

The best thing is that the boxing isn't on pay-per-view for a change. :weee:

lol same here.... and what a match!
Manny has just got the most dynamic punching ability i've ever seen, he can litterally make a combo of of anything, he also proved he can take a hit too.
Fair play to Cotto, he stood up strong despite getting hit down twice by some unblockable combos but he didn't go on the defensive after and threw some nice punches back himself for good measure.
This is what boxing is about, top respect between the two, fighting fire with fire, having thecourage of a lion and just putting on a great show for the world on a free channel. Best match I've watched in ages.

Can't wait til Mayweather assrapes him.
floyd is an overrated defensive fighter who is too scared to throw a decent combo because he is afraid to get KTFO.

mayweather has never fought anyone of consequence and he has never fought anyone like pacman.

i've said it before and i'll say it again -- pacquiao is the most violent/vicious fighter i've seen since tyson in his prime.

Pretty sad state of affairs then. No disprespect to Pacquiao intended
its true that boxing has fallen from grace and thats why i say pacman is a one man revival effort
