Kompany has a very bright future ahead of him but unless he pulls an Emerson and says 'Juve or I'll leave for free when my contract runs out' we won't get him. There's too much competition for his signature and Moggi isn't going to splash the cash when he can purchase Pavon for a lot less or retain the services of Montero.

juve doesnt have as much money as manure or buy players with other people's money like roma
Or just not pay at all like Roma did with Mexes. Come to think of it that's a very good idea. The six week ban that the player will receive is a very small price to pay.

I doubt it, Bovo will want to go back to Roma...he is a Romanista and will want to play for Roma, plus Juve's record of giving youngster a chance is less then inspiring, and that is a factor...ditto for Kompany!
He said in an interview that he wanted to go back to Roma last summer but Roma decided that Mexès and Ferrari were better options. He changed his mind and said that he would go to another club.

I'd take Barzagli and Kompany though.

Barzagli has better skils than great Nesta.i like him very much.
SO TRUE :D I've seen Barzagli a lot. I like him VERY much. Both Barzagli and Kompany, please Moggi. Get Miguel or Oddo aswell! and while ur at it, get us Rosicky and Cassano too. and dont forget about Gilardino either :)

I would love to take Kompany and Barzagli. Both of those players could form one great central defense. However I doubt that we will obtain the former.

I'm not all that sure about Kompany.Sure he's a huge talent n all,but all this hype is probably getting to him. It's looking like it could be another Mexes.

I dn't think so, Kompany stays cool, despite the hype around him. For his sake he has to leave Belgium, where all the attention is on him. In Italy he would become a player like so man others and wouldn't have all the attention the belgian media give him. Back here he's almost the only real talent....

The Anderlecht manager Van Holsbeeck said he didn't recieve any offer from Juve, and that 6mill Eur won't be good enough

I saw a Kompany interview on TV the other day and he sounds like a really humble guy. He talked about how he doesn't think he's made it yet and that he still has a lot of work to do and a lot to learn. Apparently he grew up in a rough neighbourhood and he only started playing football because his parents thought that it would be good to keep him out of trouble.

He's not all that humble. But he's not arrogant either. He knows what he's capable of. Kompany could become one of the world's greatest, but IMO it's too early to tell.
