I've just red Ruta Tannenbaum by Miljenko Jergovic (One of the best writers on balkan at the moment). The book is about Jews in WW2 in Croatia (Zagreb) and it's not good as I expected but still worth reading.

Now I'm starting to read Power & Greed - a short history of the world by Philippe Gigantes

I read that a couple years ago when it first came out. Bes is right here though; the web material is better.

yeah, I have read his web material. I like the website alot. It gave me more laughs, but some of the stuff in the book is better than quite a few of his web topics imo.

it is really dull but at least i have a really good lecturer however having loads of reading,online research and assignments to do for this subject is becoming an incessant pain...
