making small changes and not spending big has only worked in the past because we have never been in a such a poor state. since when has juve had 5 defenders who are past it and not good enough anymore?

moggi has put juve in this position now because of the past 2 summers. he has bought unwisely, opted for players in italy instead of looking abroad. his mentality of midtable team players is somewhat different to the rest of the world.

you have to spend money to make it!! Roma are selling samuel and emerson and are looking to replace them with mexes and ambrosini. thats the kind of deals that work.

we cant sell montero and iuliano and replace them with bonera and zebina, we are fixing the age problem, but we arent exactly fixing the "good defenders" problem are we.

if moggi thinks that bringing 4 players this season is enough, then juve will continue this bad patch they are in now.

And what scares me most is that if moggi was to only make 4 or so changes, these players could very well be zebina, bonera, kapo, emerson and a striker. how exactly does this fix our team?

Oh come on, it's not like Juve didn't have a penny in their coffers, and we're desperately waiting for the sale of Trezeguet or Nedved to give us the cash we need to sign players. Surely we have enough money to sign good players, then balance the books with the sale of one of our big names, preferably Trezeguet. We're just not doing that at the moment, and if we lose out on big signings that we've had lined up for years, we're gonna pay for it next season again
No you most open your eyes and accept the reality, Juve have gone negative in the economy this year, the first in seven years. And i dont think they buy players before they have the money from sold ones, it is like the old "dont sell the skin before the bear is shot" thing!.

I disagree. Juventus, as any prosperous (up until this year) business, should have plenty of cash available at all times, especially during the transfer season.

Matter of making deals in the right place at the right time is I think more important than selling first, buying next.

I hope Mexes join Roma, that means its easier for Juve to get Ferrari, and Bonera which is also a very good defender. I cant understand why some of you say he is overrated, have you ever seen him play.
You got to be kidding, Mexes is going to be the next Nesta, while Bonera is going to be the next Paramatti... Mexes is cheaper, better and more talented than Bonera... End of conversation...

You forgot that i mentioned FERRARI in my post........and Bonera is gonna be good I think so.
I noticed it, but bringing in Ferrari and Mexes would have been the best possible solution... For the wings, Maxwell and Trabelsi are the solutions, probably they're free too... Simply, there's no space for Bonera...

no way, we don't need anymore backup players, we've got plenty of them allready... Pessotto, Birindelli, Iuliano, Montero, Legrottalie, they shouldn't be allowed to start in a club of our caliber, they should be our backups... Simply, Bonera isn't good enough...

I think Juve knows if he is good enough, and i am sure that Zebina would be great for us too! he has had i great improvement this season, so the big names (Mexes) isnt allways the only option.

bonera did a good job of making people stand up and notice him at first, and did even better to make us think he's crap soon after.

sure he 's put in a couple of convincing performances but he's decent at best.

I really hope we can snap up Trabelsi, even if we get Bonera. We need an offensive player on the right too, as Zambrotta can't do the job on the left alone. We need attacking power from the right too, and Hatem is just the man for that!

Rau is at Bayern, and since Lizerazu is leaving, Rau will get a first team spot.
Forget about Hinkel. He is good, but lately he was inconsistent, and he signed a new deal some time ago. In two years or maybe even in 1 we can think about Hinkel!

spot on fella, whats even worse, some of the best talent would have already gone....to roma.....we end up with the overated crap, and kapo...i can see that we will now only sign a striekr after bonera and emerson.

Oh come on, Juve isn't a family-run fish and chips shop. Just because we make a loss in one year, doesn't mean that we're threatening to go under and have to liquidate all our assets. As you said, we're in the red for the first time in seven years. Surely we still have money from what we made in the space of 7 years

Give Kapo a chance, we've hardly seen anything of him, I think under the guidance of a good coach, he can turn into a good player.
