    She will, or just settle it as a won bet, it's not like it is about a rediculous amount of cash, she can donate the unrightfull winnings to the poor.

    I saw that even if the odds are changed, the bets retain the original odds at which they were placed. Assume checking an option as a winner, would result in using those original odds to calculate the winnings

    That is true, that is why I said she can donate the unrightfull winnings to the poor.
    Setting the odds to 1/1 only has as purpose that no other persons bet on that option, already placed bets, remain on the old odds.
