Opportunity is knocking
Emery will soon follow, Aston Villa have been tied up with PSR constraints, ultimately it has weakened them this season, missing out on the CL this season hasn't helped.

You know what's funny? Calvo left us to join Aston Villa, look at the state of them now

Monchi was key in building those Ssevilla sides that won trophies. Smart, cheap buys. Turning sugar from shit in many cases. His stops as of late haven't been successful from what I gather but he's shown what he can do.

Juventus is delighted to announce the arrival of Darren Burgess, who will take on the role of Director of Performance. He will work closely with Damien Comolli, Giorgio Chiellini, François Modesto, Igor Tudor and across all the technical areas and every age group of the Club to form a high-level team dedicated to promoting excellence in performance, innovation and athlete wellbeing.
Born in Australia, Darren is recognised and respected as one of the world's leading performance managers, bringing with him over 25 years of international experience in sports leadership.
The highlights of his career include his work on injury prevention, supervision of the medical and performance department in all its aspects – fitness, nutrition, rehabilitation, psychology and recovery for both men and women – and innovation in talent development.
Throughout his career, Darren has made significant contributions through his work both in Europe (at Liverpool and Arsenal, for example, working actively in injury prevention) and across the globe, including consulting with clubs in the NFL and NBA (his most recent collaboration being in Australia with Adelaide Football Club).
Darren's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Sports Science from the University of New South Wales, a PhD in Talent Development and a Master's degree in Sports Management (currently in progress). He is a highly sought-after speaker, author of industry publications and a leader in the development of operational staff culture and high-performance environments.
He is currently a high-performance consultant for FIFPRO and sits on the advisory boards of Traits Insights, PEAQ High Performance and Telos Performance Partners.
Darren's appointment – he will begin working with Juventus once the necessary international paperwork has been completed – marks a significant step forward in Juventus' commitment to excellence in performance, innovation and the well-being of its athletes.
    Welcome!

    Australia :baus:

His CV is extremely impressive and he has worked amazingly well at all of the clubs/teams he’s been associated with. I reckon this is an amazing appointment from the club and it finally seems like someone wants to do something about all of the insane amount of muscles injuries we’ve endured as a club over the last 15 years or so.

    Welcome Dazza
