I agree with Denco. Gigli was showing some class last year when some incident happened with Bologna, refreeing mistake, he felt sorry for it (even if the incident was against Bologna), that class!!

But saying we are not like this club and that (even if they are right) is idiotic, just shut the fuck and mind your own business!

Yeah, Blanc, we are certainly not Arsenal. If we bought Cesc Fabgregas we probably would have sent him on loan to Chinbok Donkface in Korea or some other bullshit.

:agree:

but it is really alarming this obsession with Inter that has now reached the management as well as some of the players. It is like one of the objectives of this season is beating Inter, which is very wrong imo.

I am just relieved that our some of our senior players are not getting into negative point of view and they keeping their eye on the bigger prize.

I mean it would be great to beat Inter but to put so much emphasis on it, is the wrong approach imo.

I like Blanc's mentality, but I prefer not to swipe at other clubs. This will only intensify the hatred between clubs for nothing. Please, we are already on bad blood with Inter, no need to add more oil to the fire. Juventus has more important tasks to perform other than pouring cold water at our opponents.

And another thing that really amazes me in here is that, one day the management is praised for the words they said, the other day they get bombed on what they do. Very funny.

Pepe, who is set to move to Real from Porto for 30 million euros, was also on Juve's wish-list as they rebuild the defence for their return to Serie A. But Blanc said Pepe and Real Zaragoza defender Gabriel Milito had become overpriced.

"It is not that Juve cannot pay the competitive prices of Real Madrid. We want to pay the prices that players are actually worth. The amount Real paid for Pepe was very high."

Juventus have brought in a raft of players for their bid to at least make a Champions League place next season. Italy striker Vincenzo Iaquinta was a key addition from Udinese and Blanc said the club needed to keep an Italian base.

"Juventus is a little bit of Italy," he said. "It has an Italian spine and forms part of the DNA of Italy. We don't want to go the route of Arsenal where they are all foreigners or Inter who have lots of foreigners."

I don't think he was taking a swipe... he is just stating fact. A lot of teams are sacrificing their roots, their heritage and their character for success. I applaud the fact that the Juventus Management has this opinion.

As far as the "swipe" against Inter, and the idea that we are obsessed with beating Inter... well, they are our rivals, I do hold them responsible for a large part of Calciopoli, and they are the benchmark of Calcio after winning the scudetto last year and having the roster they have. I don't see a problem with it at all.

it's just a way to win up the fans support, i'd rather have it on the feild but since it has been a whole year and the Inter managment and fan still talking about honest scudetto there have to be some reaction from our managment. We are already hated from Inter and to be honest i don't really care if they still hate us.

I doubt this is the case. If the players' main target is Inter, then we are not like Inter, we are much worse than them.

I just hope it is just Blanc's moment of dumbness and that's all.

who can really blame the team though , afterall , inter were the main reason juve were demoted to serie B and inter even took an undeserved scudetto(a whole year of hard work gone ) from us .

Juve don't have a real chance of competing for the scudetto or even playing in the champions league , all thanks to inter . The fact that juve could only hope the worst for inter isnt healthy for the team but it is only normal .

Im sure juve will not set their eyes off the main objective but they will always try their best to make inter pay.

gigli, blanc and even some players like almiron and others are all stating a lot of things about beating Inter. They are our main rivals but so are Milan and nobody is mentioning them.
As I said I wouldn't mind beating them but concentrating on getting the main objectives is way more important.

I hope its just a way to win the fans meshed with some dumbness. Nothing more and not some stupidity like putting extra pressure on the team to beat Inter.

We always have a more friendly rivalry to Milan. Even though the fans love to taunt each other, the players don't really care about this and they even offer hugs and such. The friendship may have gone sour after Calciopoli, yet it is still a friendly rivalry

Eg

Kaka's apology on Buffon for injuring his shoulder and offering Christian Abbiati to us.
Emerson giving a hug to Dida, and Shevchenko and DP exchanging hugs after the 0-0 draw at Delle Alpi @ season 2005-2006, the game in which Gattuso was sent off.
Maldini and Billy saying that Juventus dropping to Serie B is a pity.

This shows that Milan is a much more classy club compared to Inter.

It is called Bosman and Eu. It is not about sacrifice or anything like that. Some players are just too damned expensive because of their nationality. Anyways even if it is true, its not right for a higher hierachy to be coming out with those outlandish statements It shows a complete lack of class. There is nothing worse for the image of a club if the head is perceived as a buffoon. I mean not too long ago, we used to laugh at Sensi with the nonsense he use dto come out with. Now we have idiots running the ship coming out with garbage. We got stripped of 2 titles, got relegated, get over it already! Otherwise we are in grave danger of being Inter Milan, who spent close to 20 years blaming all their woes, looking for scapegoats, focussing on the wrong goals ie beating Juve and Milan, instead of looking at the real price. I just hope Juventus players and board are not as ridiculous as some of the members of this forum, with useless bitterness and idiotic rhetoric, which would do nothing to bring back what we have lost, and focus on only how we can recapture former glory. If you wallow in shit and self pity, you will never make progress

why do you all attack our board? I kinda agree with his words. He doesn't want Juve to be like Arsenal you can hardly call them an English team or Inter with all his Argentinians.
Inter always was our rival and now with the scandal and the comments made by Mancini and a couple players this has intensified.
I really don't see anything wrong with this, I certainly wouldn't call it dumb or idiotic. Over here we talk about football and once in a while people get thrown off cuz they lost controll by just talking to eachother. Can you imagine how he feels, they have a lot more at stake. The press hunts them down, every word can be misinterpreted, millions of euros are at stake and then you have us fans who analyse every word that is related to our team in the media.
So shut the fuck up about them giving stupid remarks in the press. We sit at our pc while they(board and players) have to live under constant pressure.
OK theey get paid a lot but cut him some slack.
He doesn't want us to be like Inter or Arsenal, goddamn right he is!

:agree: ppl in this forum like him a lot but to me he will always be a scumbag

u would have preferred if we got away with it? :disagree:
not at all . The fact that inter illegally wiretapped the conversations moggi had and caused us the loss of two well earned scudetti doesn't seem to bother you is beyond me
