Is there any way to increase torrents' download speed?

It's a bit too slow for my connection.

I am using Bit Tornado

Before that I've been using Azureus or something like that, but it was messing up my computer, so I got rid of it.

Its speed was still very slow though.

Do a google search for ABC BitTorrent I used that one and when you like fix up in the option things the uploads and downloads and that stuff it should be faster
It did wonders for me

What exactly did you do in the settings? I might try that with this Bit Tornado.

I mean. Aren't these programs essentially similar?

You know, one of my downloads went really fast. But it happened only once.

Bit Torrent gives me an error while installing it. so i'm using BitComet and its slow as well for my connection.

I think it has to do with the number of peers that are on or something. Like files which are shared by 100+ people are being downloaded much faster.
