Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich have agreed to pay newly-crowned Brazilian league champions Sao Paulo 14 million euros (20.5 million dollars) for 18-year-old Vinicius Rodrigues Borges, known as Breno, Germany's Bild newspaper reported Friday.
The fee makes Breno the second most expensive signing in the club's history after France international Franck Ribery, who joined Bayern last summer from Marseille for 25 million euros, and dearer than strikers Luca Toni (11 million) and Miroslav Klose (12 million).
According to Bild, the highly rated defender, who has also been linked to Real Madrid, AC Milan and Juventus, will join Bayern during the winter transfer window making him available for selection in the second half of the season.
Bayern refused to comment on the report.
