Yea, but Bayern played in the best league in the world in the early 70's...and arguable in the mid/late 90's.

How many Champions league titles do German clubs have?
Only 6 while Italian, English and Spanish clubs all have 10+ which makes tham superior leagues in general and gives their domestic titles more weight.

What I ment is that during certan periods, Geramn league could have been better than some of the main 3 leagues.
And Bundersliga at that perticular time could have had more weight than some of those leagues.
But I dont find it coinsidence that the 3 leagues that are considered the strongest in the world have by far the most Champions leagues wan.
That only proves that they are the best, which certanly gives their domestic titles more weight.

I have to disagree here. It is not Bayern´s fault they don´t have a proper competition in their own league. That should not reduce their success as we don´t know how would they be doing in leagues such as Italian or Spanish. It is just not right to take the hard earned success from them because of the inferiority of the league. Bayern is class team with great history and results. They deserve to be in the top 10, maybe even top 5 clubs of Europe. Just remember how many great players Bayern gave through the last 30 years to the German national team which is considered on par with the Azzurri. And don´t forget that Bayern are not participating in this year´s Champions League for the 1st time in last 15 years, I think.

It is not Bayerns folt that their league is week (compared to some other leagues) but it does give their domestic titles less weight.
Also, dont forget that being the only big club in Germany helps then when recruting Geramn talent because most german players want to move to Bajern to upgrade their carrears while in Italy, England and even Spain they can go to many different clubs.
