Formations anyone? Clips of the goals?

It's good to hear that Mutu was on target again and it's always nice to have DP on the scoresheet. A hat-trick for Trezeguet is welcome news too.

boh, they didn't even show the game in Italy.

btw, Capello said that Emerson asked to extend his contract with Juve for a year or 2. Giraudo said it will be done in September.

-Formation was a 4-3-3

-Tudor gave away the pk

-Trez's 1st goal was from a backheel of Mutu

- Tez hit the bar

- Zebina was so-so

- Chiellini had great game offensively

Some intersting stuff:

1- Like someone alredy said, Zambrotta played RB with Chiellini in the left
2- Zebina played center back
3- Bonnefoi enter in the 2 period and there were no goals
4- Capello played a 4-3-3 very offensive, with Camo, Emerson and Nedved in the starting line up, and Zambrotta and Chielinni as wings backs... very offensive indeed
5- Some primavera's kids got to play

good...so no Vieira...no Zlatan...damn:( or this is just one scheme...which is offensive for defensive teams......so we have two solutions .....

4 3 3 and 4 4 2 good

Is Zlatan still injured or is he just being rested? He missed the game against Cesena because of a minor injury but I'm thinking that he, like Buffon, Thuram, Cannavaro and Vieira, were given a bit of a break because Capello said that from now on he won't be making whole sale changes at half time and that most of the substitutions would occur around the 70 minute mark. I suppose the players that didn't play today will get a full game, or close to that, in the next friendly.

Can anyone say what the general performance of the team, the individual performances of the players, and the goals were like as well as who set them up?

I'm glad to see that Capello is open to trying new things such as Zambrotta at right back and I hope that he seriously considers playing the 4-3-3 this season, even if only against smaller teams.

A recap of the goals:

1-0: Nice backheel from Mutu to set up Trez who beats the keeper with an angled finish.

1-1: Tudor fouls Bortolotto and concedes a penalty which Biagi converts.

2-1: A good piece of play from DP on the left as he dribbles two Biellese players before supplying Trezeguet with the perfect pass.

2-2: Zebina's error allows Sorrentino to set up Bortolotto who scores from close range.

3-2: Mutu scores from a headed Trezeguet assist.

4-2: Del Piero dribbles into the penalty area, is fouled and scores from the resulting spot kick.

5-2: DP gets his second of the game courtesy of a precise assist from Nedved.

6-2: Trezegol completes his hat-trick. Giovinco got the assist.
