Following almost three weeks of intense preparations to build up to the forthcoming 2012/13 campaign, Antonio Conte has granted the entire squad a day off.
This means the Bianconeri involved in yesterday’s 2-0 win over Hertha Berlin, plus the group of Azzurri internationals who returned to work at the start of the week, will enjoy a relaxing Sunday at home ahead of the squad’s next two pre-season fixtures.
On Wednesday 1 August, Juventus will travel to Geneva to face Portuguese side Benfica, while Spanish outfit Malaga provide the opposition on Saturday 4 August.
These invaluable tests will help Conte's men approach their Italian Super Cup encounter with Napoli - due to be played on Saturday 11 August in Beijing – in peak condition.
