Fans again flocked to Val d’Aosta in their masses as the Bianconeri’s pre-season preparations stepped up a level ahead of Tuesday’s first friendly outing against a local side from the region.
The weekend has brought an expected rise in the number of supporters, with hotels in the region struggling to cope with the overwhelming demand to see the reigning champions in action.
A session focused on technique opened the day’s activity at the Brunod stadium in Chatillon.
Recent arrival Lucio, who yesterday joined his team-mates for his first workout since completing a free transfer switch from Inter, was part of the second group of players to be put through their paces.
Juventus will be back on the training ground for their second session at 5pm.
