So they only offer singles over there? I'm sure you can find a place that offers multipliers..

I don't normally ask this, but now I'm curious: how much do you bet? Earning $126 on singles alone is pretty good.
i bet about 50 bucks yesterday:)

i know it ain't 191 but i'm just a friggin student:irritate:;)

I lost 50 bucks last week :sigh:
Hey, you win some, you lose some. If you can't accept that, you shouldn't be betting ;)

When you place a bet.. I know it's hard, but just expect to lose the money. Write it off from your accounts and just act like you flushed it down the toilet. That way, you're either right or pleasantly surprised :)

Take a look at my weekly final balance column. Sometimes I lose 70-80 $ in a week, but I try to get over it and move on. These are my results from the last few weeks: (The -51.50 is this week's column, but I've still got $158 pending so I'm not too worried :))

Yeah it's not bad, but if you look back at the past few weeks, I can't help but be annoyed whenever I get the unlikely matches right, then one or two bankers like Freiburg-Stuttgart 2 go down the drain, costing me upto $300 sometimes :wallbang:

It's difficult to continue sometimes though, I mean after I lost $79, if I hadn't won it back the next week I would've considered taking a break for a while.

Either way, I always make sure it's just a hobby, and I don't get too greedy or start relying on the money to pay for my uni textbooks or something ;)

Yeah, I know Gray, and I bet as much as I can afford and I dont feel bad if I lose. Whats done is done, no point in dwelling over it.

yeah that's the thing.only bet with what you have-the moment you start borrowing or betting on credit there's no turning back.

it's a risky hobby, but the good days are well worth the risk:devil:

Yeah, I'd never borrow money to bet.

You borrow just a bit to get out of a loss, and next thing you know you owe 15.000$ to a bald guy named Butch, that made everyone in prison his b*tch. :scared:

anyway i played safe today and only made one bet-20 bucks on Real Madrid to win by 2 goals or more.

needless to say,the Galacticos cost me again.

my advice is to spot the fallen giants and try to determine when they'll get their act together.i hit two of my biggest streaks this way.the first was with man utd two seasons ago when they blew hot and cold for months before getting their act together.the odds got too high to be true and i timed it exactly right-i made huge profits for weeks.

the second was last season's Barca.

I dunno, I don't feel confident betting on the fallen giants; it's extremely frustrating :)

Dammit, Ajax cost me $78.50 with their shite performance against MTA, and Montella's useless last minute equaliser meant I ended the week in the red :irritate:. Ronaldinho's last minute winner cost me as well :fero:

Staked: 73
Returned: 55.80
Profit/Loss: -17.20

:wallbang:

i couldn't believe ajax lost too.if they'd won i'd have fancied their chances to qualify instead of bayern.i wouldn't mind juve giving ajax three points in the coming matchday if it meant bayern's elimination:devil:

The first one should win, but I think 1.40 for Bayern is a bit stingy, even if it's a home match for them. Hannover is playing well at the moment and IIRC is above Bayern in the standings.

The second one looks like a decent bunch of bets too, but I'd be cautious about Villa against Portsmouth, maybe a 1x would've been safer.
