;) A bit of a scare, with Leeds going ahead early in the game, but Birmingham were a pretty sure bet, they're untouchable at home.

;) Chelski had me sweating for a bit, letting Wolves take the lead twice in the match. Luckily though, Jimmy got me a hat-trick in the last 10 minutes :)

:( Disappointing goalless draw

:(

;)

;)

;)

:(

;)

;)

;) 4-1 :thumb:

;) Great performance from Bayern, 5-2. Hargreaves scored :extatic:

:( I knew i should have just gone with my instinct. Oh well, at least i knew at the start that it was a risky bet.

I can't believe I picked the only match in the competition that didn't end OVER :fero:

Pending

;)

Since it was just a small bet to cover, the Birmingham victory more than makes up for it ;)

;):extatic: when Charlton took the lead, i didn't have much hope in Villa, but they're playing great these days

I was quite pleased when Radzinski gave Everton the lead on 78 minutes. Quite gutted when Boro equalised 5 minutes later :(

:(

Oh, so there isn't a blank line between your quote and mine? In that case it's probably the smileys taking up space.

Man, just my luck :sigh:

Just as I'm about to win for the first time, the Betis-Barcelona game gets postponed :sigh:

Here's what I played:

Leverkusen-Hertha - 1 @1.90
Le Mans-Monaco - x2 @1.15
Nice-Lyon - x2 @1.40
Adanaspor-Fenerbahce - 2 @1.25
Lanus-Boca Juniors - x2 @1.30
Perugia-Lazio - 2 @2.30
Leicester-Liverpool - x2 @1.30
Arsenal-Manchester United - 1x @1.20
Alkmaar-Ajax - x2 @1.25

and finally
Betis-Barcelona - x2 @1.30

Invested 2, win 58

:sigh:

AFAIK, most respectable bookies should give you your stake back, or if you won the rest of your matches, you should get a half payout of what you should have won

btw didn't Ajax lose anyway?

Good to hear you're cool again

And I tell you again, you really need to stop going for a huge one-off win. Go for consistency and start making combinations of likely matches

:sob:

the darnest things is I leave my tips, then U see the sport news, U start
looking at the so claimed 'experts' and then I go and change my tips...

I got a bit cocky after getting some great results on the weekend, but a lot of teams let me down. I got lucky though, because one of my combinations had Siena and Brescia winning, and Arsenal drawing which raised the odds greatly

Arsenal - Manchester United Draw
;)
Bolton - Newcastle Draw
:(
Leicester - Liverpool Draw
;)

AC Milan - Chievo
:( (only in terms of betting though, I'm glad they didn't win)
Brescia - Ancona
;)
Parma - Empoli Draw
:(This was always gonna be a bit of a gamble
Perugia - Lazio
;)
Reggina - Inter Milan Draw
:(
Sampdoria - Lecce
:( Lecce equalised in the 94th minute :fero:
Siena - Udinese
;)

Hamburg - Kaiserslautern
;)
Real Madrid - Sevilla
;)
Celta Vigo - Zaragoza
:(

Yeah, I'll get 46 instead of 58. If the match isnt replayed in the next two days that game is scarepped from the bet. It's going to be played April 14th, so...

I won :thumb:

Anyways, this is not a huge off win, this was the 10 safest games I could find and I played most of tme 1x or x2. Anyways, on my other bet I had 12 games with a total win of 500 from 2 invested, got all of them right except Sparta Prague's game, and Barcelona's postponed one.

As I've said before, in the punting world, it's much safer to go for consistent wins rather than saying "Okay, when i finally win my $2000 bet, I'll quit".

btw I didn't know you could put 12 legs in one accumulator, my maximum is 10  Not that i'd be crazy enough to bet on 12 results.

Seriously, you can pick the safest-looking matches in the world, but one or two favourites will almost always screw you up with a draw

No, I mean you put these, whaddayacallthem, double predictions, or whatever.

1x- home win or draw
x2- draw or away win

Are we on the same page here? :undecide:

I know what a double-chance bet is, unfortunately my bookie doesn't offer them :irritate: maybe i should have put it in context :) I meant:

:D

If ManU - Arsenal hadn't drawn, I would've made a net loss for the week

Wouldn't have been too happy then :(
