I haven't bet in a while either, since my last post in this thread in fact. I don't know why, maybe I've finally managed to quell the greed inside me, which to me is a good thing

Your bets look pretty good to me, favourites playing away at pretty good odds. What I've always recommended though, is not putting all your eggs in one basket, because favourites have a fair chance of struggling for a draw. IMO you should split up your bets into 'pools', making combinations (doubles, trebles) using your selected matches. That way, even if only 3 of the teams win, you still cover your losses, and for every result that you guess correctly, your profit grows cumulatively

Actually, I was planning another bet of 1 € with a potential win of 6 €, to cover my loses, just in case:

Hamburg - Bayern Muchen - x2 @ 1.30
St. Etienne - Monaco - x2 @ 1.30
Rennes - PSG - x2 @ 1.30
Malatyaspor - Besiktas - x2 @ 1.25
Stuttgart - Mainz - 1 @ 1.45
Aberdeen - Glasgow - 2 @ 1.45


Total quota 5.5 * 1 € = 5.5 €

see, now you're just being stupid You can't cover your losses on a risky all-aways bet by making a 6 bet multiplier!

What I meant was, you should really make lower-risk small combinations e.g.

Bayern + Monaco
Bayern + PSG
Monaco + Besiktas
Bayern + Monaco + Besiktas

I remember one Saturday, I lost some 20 € on bets, and I got mad and went to the betting shop, found some good, but risky combinations, invested 1 € and won 40 €.

it's your money and everyone has different strategies. I'm not saying that you're wrong and I'm right, just that this works for me In my betting days, my main priority was to:

1. Not go in the red
2. Make consistent profits
3. Not get greedy

Instead of trying to hit the jackpot every time (even though I did always make a small jackpot bet ), I figured that it's probably much safer to win consistently

I'm still in the green, but not by much. Won some 150 €, invested some 135 I think


Anyways, my strategy was to bet some 11 € in total. 5 € on some semi risky bets, with a win of around 100 € (almost got a few of those, got fvcked by only one match), 1 € on some very risky bets with a potential win of 500 €, and another 5 € on the safest two matches I could find, just to cover my losses. I've never lost on the safe 2 match bet so far, thats why I'm in the green.

i was betting on bet365.com i tried once to take my money back but it's asking a copy of my passport , copy of my credit card etc.. i mean they want full acces to my credit card:wth:
and my card is web surf card (mastercard) i don't know if it take money i know it's just for paying.
did any of you had similar probs?

I havent bet for a while, some 4-5 months now. I dont bet the laste 2 or 3 rounds of national championships, the CL or EURO. They are all too unpredictable.

Bah, what'd I tell you Z. You have to face the facts that your betting is going to be pretty much a weekly thing, so the smart way is to make consistent winnings, even if they're not huge. The most important thing (believe it or not) is not losing your money, so you should make that your focus rather than the huge "I'm never gonna bet after this win" jackpot
