So narrowminded ... ;)

Rule #1: You CANNOT have a second team that competes in the same league with your team .. I hate it when someone goes :

"If Juve are not competing for the scudetto this year then I will go for Milan !!"

It's like you're having a very beautiful (guys, beautiful here stands for HOT) girlfriend .. and then suppose she suddenly had an accident and needed to stay in the hospital for a couple of months in bed .. so instead of staying with here and cheering here up .. you hang out with another 'lesser' HOT chick until your first girlfriend gets back ... that's CHEATING :fero: !!!

Here is another thing to think about:

Most Milan fans HATE Juve .. they wish us the worst .. and in return, we think they are a cool team and hope they win the Scudetto when Juve are not involved :groan:

I understand when someone prefers one team over the other (e.g. Milan over Inter) to win the Scudetto .. but saying that Milan is my second favourite team - after Juve - is just another story ..

I forgot the goals...
Best: Baggio vs Cecoslovacchia @ Italia 90 WC
Worst: Maybe Vieri/Toldo vs us this year... there was a fault and it was even impossible to understand who scored... just a big mess...

You got issues Fahad :p

Yes, you can like two teams in the same league. that doesn't mean that you like them equaly or like the one who is on top better.
I love Juventus. i would never support a team playing against juve.
but in a league, not everyone has to be "enemies"
For me, in serie a, the good guys are:
(Milan, Brescia, and Chievo) and the bad guys are : (Roma and Inter). the rest i dont care if they win or lose.

Just because many Milan fans hate juve, that doesn't mean it's wrong for a few of us to like them.

I LOVE JUVENTUS, that love will never decrease no matter what (even if their beautiful face gets messed up and stays in the hospital for months......Fahad's example ;) ) i would hang out with both the same amount as always. if the team you love has no chance in getting the league, you would wish the other one all the best. THAT DOES NOT mean that you like juve any less!

sorry fahad, but the example you gave sucks. these are teams not women. Juve wont get jelous or mad if i like Milan a bit too.

Also, you say that you can't like them if their in the same league. Well, what if you like Chelsea second best to juve. they aren't in the same league, but they may face off sometime in the CL!!! so i should all of a suddon hate them!! or think nothing of them!!!

i wounder if you prohibit yourself from even watching other teams!!? you migh think it's a SIN to see other team and not juve!! juve would get man ;) .....

Get a Grip, it's Football!! :D

well said majed that was what i had in mind. and another example for supporting milan: Imagine that Juventus is having an awfull season just like Roma now and we are out of the scudetto race ( position 8 or something and battling for a uefa cup spot ) and there are 3 teams aiming for the scudetto lets say MILAN & INTER & ROMA i'll go for sure to support Milan to win the scudetto. and there are also other occasions where you support milan like in the CL when they aren't facing Juventus.Like when they faced Real madrid this season and don't tell me you supported Real.;)

Well, I've had this argument with many other football fans .. but I guess I will never understand how can it actually happen .. I've always supported one team in my life and I don't think it will ever change .. in the World Cup and Euro it was Italy, in the Serie A it is Juve, and even in our national championship i have only supported one team ..

As for the final part .. I watch around 4 matches every week .. atleast 2 from Serie A, 1 from the EPL, and 1 from the French league .. and then other 4 matches from the Champions League, and I also enjoy watching the UEFA Cup .. I watch other teams but would never support them like I support Juve .. I just watch football in general because I like it .. but when it comes to Juve or Italy, it's a totally different case ;)

Exactly!! you would support them, but not like you support juve!!!

    That's the whole point.
When i see my teams play i would want them to win, otherwise, if i watch a game, i just want to see goals both ends, or whoever plays better in that particular game.

dont think for a second that any of my team come even close to juve!!
It's good to support a team in every league. it makes it fun to watch their results evcery week and keep up:
These are the other league i regularly keep up with, besides serie A:

    Holland: PSV
    England: Chelsea
    Argentina: River
    Spain: Valencia

Hmm .. ok, you say Milan is your 'second' favourite team .. right ??

Milan will play against Empoli next week, would you be more satisfied if Milan won or if they drew or got defeated ?!

I like watching Inter and Milan matches, but I always support the opposing teams and feel very happy when they lose a match or drop points because it will help Juve in one way or another ...

As for the other leagues, I don't know why .. but I don't have preferences .. I only watch the games to enjoy them ..

P.S. I know you are as loyal to Juve as I am and maybe even more .. but I just can't get the idea of you supporting another team - especially Milan !! - besides the great Juve ... as I said i've had numerous arguments and discussions about this topic, but it always led to nowehere :D

i think i understand how you feel. i know people who support both manU and Juve!! :fero: that really bugs me!!
but as you said, that's not the case with me since i dont like milan as much.

but anyway, as for your question:

I think i'll want Milan to win.
If Juve slip up, i'd go crazy, but i'd want the red part of Milan to ease my sufforing, instead of Inter winning :fero:

let me put this in another scenrio. If the title Race was only between Juve and Milan only, i'd probibly want Milan to lose against Empoli!!
