we just care about 3 of them :D
In the 3rd position, he put 2 players just to make it impossible to figure out who he chose as best 3.

Zlatan? I'm sorry but he's not even close to the top five farless the top three. He has tremendous potential but come on guys, let's not get carried away.

Eto'o
Adriano
Makaay

IMO.
I'm glad that you mentioned Makaay. He's so often overlooked by many but he's definitely one of the best finishers in world football. He doesn't have Adriano's power, Eto'o's pace or Henry's flair but he's right up there with Shevchenko when it comes to finishing IMO.

My top five, in no particular order, are Henry, Shevchenko, Adriano, Makaay and Eto'o.

If people when doing these kind of things, only consider form, ie Zlatan could be crap next season, why not put Lucarelli up there?

Considering he got more goals then everyone else who has been mentioned...

1. Sheva, 2. Ronaldinho, 3. Totti.

I would say he is IN the top 10 and probably close to the top 8, depending on the day.
No way is he in the top five though. I can think of about seven better strikers off the top of my head.

Exactly. Zlatan has had one good season at the highest level and that proves very little. If he's one of the best in the world then I suppose so are Diego Forlan and Andrew Johnson.

Btw Nicole, I know that the creator of the thread didn't exactly make it clear but I think that he meant strikers so I wouldn't include Ronaldinho or Totti.

Yes, but its so blurred now, the distiction between striker and forward. Look at Sheva for an example, many people reconise him as a striker, yet in similar ways to Henry, you'll see him alot of the time coming out of the box, which is traditionally at least where most strikers stay, if anything I'd call Henry a forward more then a striker although that is the position he plays, you'll also see him on the left-flank as well, as well as Eto'O he isnt that you'd call an out-an-out striker.

But whatever you know. Adriano and Eto'O in place of Ronaldino and Totti.
