Well anybody who saw the game would have agreed that Buffon and Nedved injuries were unintentional...I'm sorry that Buffon and Pavel got injured...And Capello blasting Milan just showes up how low can he fall..Injuries happen inthese matches even on practice...and Kaka did not do anything more then what all players do when they find themselves in a situation like that...It was an unfortunate accident that happened....

are you kaka from soccer 24/7 forum?

Capello isn't low Just because he said that, I know these things can happen in Football, and I don't blame Maldini or Kaka, but It's Friendly after all...However these things can happen...

Yup, by looking at these few paragraphs

"It’s a real shame that we are losing so many players in this period," said Capello after Mauro Camoranesi also picked up an injury on Friday in the Naples triangular tournament.

"Nedved suffered a nasty blow from Paolo Maldini which could possibly have been avoided. The same could be said for Kaka on Buffon.

"The Berlusconi Trophy is important but at the end of the day it is still a friendly and there could have been a little more caution out there. These frequent injuries are annoying."

It's juz Capello complaining. He does seem unhappy about the way Milan played, but the media juz made blew things out of proportion and said that Capello blasted Milan. Another attempt to make rivalry between 2 teams more bitter

Absolutely correct. the word "blast" is the most misused word in the football journalist's vocabulary. I remember jumping into an article titled "Ancelotti Blasts Juve" following a Milan-Juve draw. The entire body of Carlo's blast was, "I don't agree that juve had the better of play in the second half. I think it was even and we even had a few chances to win the match." Wow, that was a real tongue lashing. "Blast" my ass.

Don't try, it seems he judged everything that Capello said by reading ONLY the title of the article.

Berlusconi Feels For Buffon
8/16/2005 12:39:00 PM
Italy and Milan supremo Silvio Berlusconi expressed sorrow for the injury suffered by Buffon in the friendly tournament held in honor of Berlusconi’s father.
"What happened to Buffon ruined what otherwise was a fantastic evening. I feel sorry for him. I have suffered similar injuries, and I know how much pain they involve," said Berlusconi.

"When I got home I was happy for Milan (who beat Juve 2-1) but sad for him. I had saluted him before the teams made their way onto the pitch," he added.

The Juventus keeper will miss the next two months of action as a result of the injury he sustained following a clash with Milan’s Brazilian sensation Kaka.

After the game, Juve boss Fabio Capello criticized Milan for the over-energetic play they displayed throughout the evening.

Berlusconi is the President Of Italy. I doubt he was happy that his national teams keeper is injured. I'm not positive but I think Berlusconi would care more about winning the World Cup, then the Scudetto. He's already had a very successful run with Milan.

Injured Buffon needs surgery Tuesday 16 August, 2005

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gianluigi Buffon will have to undergo surgery for a shoulder injury and won’t be back in action for at least three months, confirmed Juventus today.

The goalkeeper suffered the setback when he challenged Kaka during the 2-1 Trofeo Berlusconi defeat at the San Siro on Sunday evening.

Tests have shown the injury to be worse than previously thought and he will have to go under the knife in order to heal properly.

"Today Buffon completed the specialist tests on his right shoulder and it was decided that keyhole surgery was needed to repair the damage suffered during Sunday’s match against Milan," read a statement on the Bianconeri website.

"The operation will be performed by Professors Flavio Quaglia, Riccardo Minola and Roberto Ravera on Wednesday August 17.

"The final prognosis will be revealed after the surgery, but we can already predict a three-month absence from the playing field."

This is a bitter blow for Juventus, who must now find a replacement goalkeeper who can give the kind of guarantees that current No 2 Antonio Chimenti does not.

It is also a serious setback for Italy Coach Marcello Lippi, who finds himself with relatively inexperienced goalkeepers Morgan De Sanctis, Flavio Roma and Matteo Guardalben.
