Cesena manager Mario Beretta has called on his players to raise their game in tomorrow’s match against Juventus. The 52-year-old, who stepped into the Seahorses’ dugout in February, warned his men of the Bianconeri’s threat during a pre-match press conference held in Emilia-Romagna.
The Milan-born coach said: “We’ll have to play above our abilities, giving more than 100% and hoping they’re not at their best. It will be a big test from both a physical and psychological point of view. I saw Sunday night’s game against Roma, Juventus are a great team with great mental and physical strength. They’re still unbeaten in the championship, which tells us all about the value of Conte’s group of players. In my opinion they’re the favourites in the Scudetto hunt, they’re in great condition and Milan have had some negative results.”
