I used to feel the same but then I discovered the wonderful world of Trip-hop and artists like Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, Portishead, etc. Those are all Disc spinners and make some pretty damn good music.

Massive Attack single handedly changed my mind about electronic music, I was really prejudiced as you are about it before, but now I've really grwon to respect it as an art.
    How boring

Kinda sounds like Faithless except a lot slower.

    Benassi's not French.
    my bad

i always assumed he was french, he plays on the french radio station 'Club FG' quite a lot and his style is similar to the french djs i mentioned.

if you like that sort of music check out the djs in the Swedish House Mafia, they are all superb especially Axwell.

You've ruined the thread, it was for Benassi not for Massive Attack.
They did that on purpose , believe it Zé.

Aagh ,what the hell, my favorite is Unfinished Sympathy. :D

im a huge fan of dance music but not really much of Benassi. There are better french djs out there such as Antoine Clamaran, David Vendetta and David Guetta.
Just to add: St.Germain, Shazz, Elegia, Llorca, Rinôcérôse, Dimitri from Paris...

I´ve heard a few sets from him, and all I can say is that his style is weird and not very pleasant to the ears.
