I think he's a lot better as a CB, but sure, I won't mind seeing that. As long as it's not De Sciglio.

Basically confirms we're in on him.

This is a signing that really could save the mercato. He's not a world beater anymore but if you can put a great defender at RB, I think that does a lot for this formation. It seems a little light defensively especially if we start playing Costa and Bernardeschi instead of Cuadrado and Mandzukic. If MDS or Licht start to get put under more pressure, it could get ugly quick.

And then Howedes also offers his ability to defend set pieces and attack. And the ability to play CB.

It's a really great opportunity here. I think he fits the team perfectly.

I see him starting at RB too. We don't really need an offensive minded fullback in the 4231, but we also need a better athlete than barzagli. I'm not an expert on howedes but considering he's like six years younger, it's safe to say he fits the bill.

CB choice where would he be - I guess Chiellini is our starting CB and next to him there are Benatia Rugani Barzagli and Howedes - Who will partner Chiellini?

I read that he also was stripped of captain armband, so it may be a conflict with the coach.
