Giovinco is awesome and what i like most, he plays the exact same position as Nedved, on the wing. And he does very well. Giovinco - De Ceglie is working!

Also some superb footwork by Gio down low earlier in the half...

He may seem a little tired, but he's also tracking back much further than Rossi and Aquafresca... and early on, Honduras was trying to be quite physical with him. This is definitely how Juventus should employ him... on the left in the 4-3-3 (which can then shift and flow into a quasi 4-4-2, or a 4-3-1-2... give the boy some freedom to roam...)

Beside the goal, it has been the normal Giovinco standard, nothing out of the ordinary.

And Vimo, I take it you havent seen the azzurrini before? Giovinco-De Ceglie has allways worked.

Casiraghi should replace Cigarini for Marchisio , a midfielder who can run with the ball .

I don't understand why he is playing Cigarini along with Montolivo .. both of them have the same role .. the same way to deliver the ball .

well i haven't followed exactly every game but from the ones i saw so far, it never striked me that much how well the 2 are combining. In fact, if i could chose 2 azzurrini, i'd take giovinco and de ceglie, without being biased :)
