This thread is about the Olympics. Not about the politics. If anyone is really bugged about why China is hosting the Olympics,or if someone is bugged about why other people are bugged about China holding the Olympics, take it to some other thread. There was a thread in the Hangout section about it.Dig it out,and take your argument there.Dont bring politics into this thread. It will lead to stupid arguments, which will lead to warnings and infractions.

Stick to the Olympics.DO NOT bring Politics here.

Yes, on the first day every team plays against humidity-ladened smog. The second fixture is against lung-breaking SARS. The third fixtures of the group are against large gallons of highly polluted sea water.

    USA, USA, USA, USA!

Screw China I hope Belgium rapes them.
We probably won't as we are sending a lot of reserve players. To me that's just awful as we've got so many talents under 23 and I think every athlete should be willing to compete in the Olympics. The only reason why anyone could turn the offer down is obviously China itself.

    Some trivia meanwhile:

Who are the only two remaining silver medalists from Italy's WC 94 squad who played professional football last season (and will probably continue playing next season)?

    No cheating.

Hint: They both play in the same club now as they did in 94. The one that's not Maldini wears the number 5 and is a starter for his club.
