Bayern Munich chief Karl Heinz Rummenigge insists his club are not about to use Serie A as a supermarket following the Calciopoli verdicts.
A host of Europe’s top clubs are preparing to pluck some of the games biggest stars from Juventus, Lazio and Fiorentina, but the German legend claims his outfit have no desire to feast on the misfortune of others.
“We won’t be buying from Juventus,” he stated. “What is happening in the transfer market resembles a carving up of corpses.
“It leaves a bad taste and it isn't something that appeals to the people at Bayern Munich,” he continued.
The former Inter striker also took the opportunity to rubbish reports that his club are keen on landing Viola striker Luca Toni.
"There is no truth in this at all," he added. "We haven't contacted this player or any other Italian player and we will not be doing so in the future."
Toni continues to be paired with Inter, but Real Madrid seem to have cooled their interest after they moved closer to Rudd Van Nistelrooy of Manchester United.

I still think Rummenigge is a twat, but that was admirable.
