I think I've explained my reasons enough. I hate close-minded thinking, and what radekas did there is a good example of it. And to be fair, I've never got along with him or his opinions, so it's not as bizarre as you think.

It's likely the movie will suck yes, hope it doesn't tho. Still Snyder, Steppenwolf as main villain isn't that interesting even Darkseid related. And I hope someone bitch slaps Jesse Eisenberg enough til he gets it that Lex Luthor doesn't have to be Joker quirky. Now that he is bald, get serious


I want the franchise to get serious enough to get a legion of doom story lol. Them Vs, Lex, Joker, Black Manta, Ocean Master, Vandal Savage, Gorilla Grodd (lol) Scarecrow etc.

I think Steppenwolf will ultimately be a secondary villain with Darkseid joining near the end of the movie. It wouldn't surprise me if they basically retold the story from New 52 Justice League first issues, where Darkseid's army attack, then Darkseid appears near the end without explanation of who he is or what he wants. They fight him, repel him and JL2 will follow this set up. Basically the movie will be more about the creation of the League than fighting a villain.

Origin story for the league I get, but it might be to soon to use Darkseid himself imo. I doubt we will see him in the movie, mainly mentionned.

I don't mind Steppenwolf being a throw away villain if it means the story fleshes out the characters more which is something BVS lacked.

I had too high expectations for BVS and after seeing it it made me more worried than excited for the Justice League.

After seeing the JL segment in this video though im all pumped up again and can't wait until its release

I can't wait to watch it later today. Although one of the reviews I read said that good people who lived the theatrical version, this will feel like it's moving slowly.

Maybe, maybe not. WB didn't even release the first BvS Comic Con teaser, so they may not. Or it could be released as part of the first trailer next year. They only just started filming it, so still a long way to go before we see actual footage.

Just finished the Ultimate Edition and loved it.

Even though there is no new scene which is a revelation except maybe for the Steppenwolf one, the other scenes added just make the story flow more easily and its not just jumping from scene to scene like the Theatrical release.

The Knightmare scene stays pretty much the same but I still think despite looking great and being able to get all the references from the comics it just comes out of nowhere and kind of takes you out of the movie. It is needed to set up the next instalment so I guess I can't complain.

I gave the Theatrical cut a 7/10 but I can now give this a comfortable 8.5.

Though the movie still has a few problems mostly with the writing I think Warner Bros really did screw Snyder over here and I now don't think he deserves all the shit he's been getting.
