Schweinsteiger Ready For Juve
Germany midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger's fine performances at Euro 2008 have attracted the interest of Juventus.
After ten years spent at Bayern Munich, Germany star Bastian Schweinsteiger feels like it's time to move on. One club who have been interested in the 23-year-old for some time are Juventus, and the player himself is allegedly flattered by their interest.
Until now, his performances at Euro 2008 have been excellent. If he caps his tournament off with a great performance in tonight's final against Spain, the gates of heaven would open up for him, allowing the player to ask for a salary increase. His current wages are in fact not very high, particularly if compared with those of his team mates.
Bayern would like to keep him, as they are always reluctant to give away their best players, but they are also known to act quickly when they stand to make a good profit. But the lad isn't cheap: the buy-out clause in Schweinsteiger's contract is around 20 million euros.
