Bastian is only worth it if his price is at top 4M
Podolski is a very good player but we are well covered in that position so I can`t see us making a bid
We are probably going to see Juve buying a CM or a DM again it is probably that it is going to be Xabi Alonso
Swein... we might be after him but I doubt we are going to offer too much (maybe a straight swap with Zanetti who I think we must keep as a quality back up)
maybe a CB and that`s it

I dont think highly of Bastian tbh, he seems to frequent being selfish in moves (even at bayern), though I guess that could be due to the lack of regular playing time. Does he cross well? Coz I've never realy noticed coz it sux when wingers (I know joaquin particularly) cant lift the ball for crosses and always seem to drill it across
Podolski aint bad but I just hate the way him (and Van Persie to mention another) are so incapable of using their right foot for good passing and shooting. I feel its rather important for a support striker to be able to at least use both feet in moves, of course one will be better than the other but at least the weaker one wont just be for standing with

Gee a bit of flair! Why does this board think Alonso is such a good buy for 20 mil pounds and ppl here think we should spend under 10 mil for someone better and cheaper.
Yes I know his not a central mid but he is a VERY good player. Yes he can be selfish but all the better players can be.
I wish he comes and then we can play Camo in the middle or even play a diamond midfield with:
Camo/DP
Gio/Ned Scwein/Camo
Sissoko/Zanetti (if needed)
