schweinsteiger from germany NT; everytime - schweinsteiger from this year's bayern; hell no. I don't want him at this moment to be honest. i rate him, but i can't see him outside bundesliga. Too much of a gamble to me. we need solid proven players.

After reading the last 2 pages of Schweini's thread I came to one conclusion: He is one of the most overrated players around here. I guess the most of you rate him high because you remember his good WC performances. I don' t want Schweinsteiger.
So very true.:agree:

Well, he has been really poor recently. he was awesome 2 years ago and yes he´s still relatively young, but somehow he lost his qualities, same as Podolski.
So the conclusion: No, thank You.

With Bayern pissed off at us getting Kovac for free and almost getting Sagnol for free as well, I don't think they will let Bastian go to Juve so easily.

And TBH the present Schweinsteiger is overrated.

I know where Fred, Zhixin, and vimo are coming from about Schweini. He isn't what some people make him out to be. Since the first game i saw him play for the German NT , i knew what ppl saw in him and recently how some people overstate his abilities.

I think he is a very good player, that could be molded into something better in the future given he has the right mentoring and coaching within the environment hes in.

He has deficicies though ,as he is very inconsistent and sometimes shows a certain level of selfishness that harms the team.

Overall i would take him because he has the potential to play much better than he is now.

I guess Klinsmann is the coach to do it since Bastian performed in the WC. I don't see Bastian leaving Bayern. Bayern now boosts a squad of world class winners, and Bastian sees Bayern as his comfort zone. With Klinsmann coming in as coach for Bayern next season, the probability of Bastian leaving Bayern is silmmer. After all it is hard for Bastian to leave a team full of world class stars where he gets the chance to play with them quite often

You forgot Sali. Not the best player out there, but definitely adds insult to injury.

Yeah it is his comfort zone and Klinsi is kind of his mentor from their successful world cup campaign. But he didn't perform to the standard expected this season and they could see him as a surplus, and cashing in is the best option as he wouldn't want to sit on the bench next season. That the highly unlikely scenario where i think he could leave.
