Bianconeri defender Andrea Barzagli believes the form book will go out of the window when Juventus face Milan on Sunday night.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side have struggled to gain consistency following several big name departures in the summer, but the defender is expecting the hosts to raise their game at the San Siro.
Speaking to Sky Sport, Barzagli said: “It’s an important game, between two strong and motivated sides. From what I’ve seen of the past few fixtures, Milan also know how to play as a team. They’re not just reliant on El Shaarawy, as much as he’s enjoying a rich vein of form.”
“Many players have left, but for Milan it’s normal to aim to be up at the top. For now they haven’t managed to do so, but they’ve got what it takes to pick themselves up.”
